My ver s 18l can reach 400km. If I can get pulsar, I can really save alot!

your fuel costs will be halved. But how many kms do you ride in a month? I ride only less than 500 kms a month so fuel costs not important for me. If I ride 1000 kms a month, then yes, I would save like 50$ a month pulsar vs super4

AND JUST TO ADD. the mileage of my bike = 650km. GOING to JB for top up is really INSIGNIFICANT figure. 10KM+ as my sch at woodlands . so HALF THE PRICE AGAIN!

WAH I everyday 100- 120km

1 month 110X31 =3410KM:thumb:

My God, that is seriously a lot of riding. Please take lot of rest as that much riding will take a toll on your body. Also gear up well as more time on the road means more risks and make sure your bike is in top condition all the time. Your frequency of servicing will also be quite high like you need to change EO every 3 weeks.

Hello guys! I am a future (hopefully) bajaj pulsar owner as I am really interested in this bike, I've read the last 15 pages ( way too many man haha ) and got a good idea of the pulsar. I know this is a bajaj thread but honestly would pulsar riders recommend this bike? I'm looking for commuting, cheap parts and servicing and good FC. Speed is second priority!

Whats the diff between UG180 and 200 ?

welcome...

15 pages is not a lot...

we have a rider(not mentioning who, but is a lady ang moh...) who read more than you when she decided to get her pulsar...

to answer your queries:

1) Commuting: Pulsar is a wonderful bike for this...

2) Cheap Parts: well parts are still ok priced...not to say they are very cheap...do some homework and you can find parts from other bikes that fit as well...

3) Servicing: as long as you do your regular servicing should not have major issues...of course normal wear and tear over time is unavoidable...

4) Good FC: Pulsar is the right bike for you...you will love the FC...

180 has 4 versions in SG...

UG1-4...

Main difference is oil and air cooled...

can read through page 1 of the thread for details of the different UGs...

only UG4 not in...

UG4 has clip on handlebars,DC circuit,split seats,electrical start only...

you planning to get new or 2nd hand?

if you can, join us for our makan session tomorrow to know more...

Been riding s4 for some time now. Need to downgrade to save up for big day. Then small bike can use for despatch work also. If use s4 no profit. 3.2l one filter 4 sparkplugs. If our friend farhanians use this bike for transport i think koyak..... Bigger bike=bigger maintenance. Fast also but sg too many traffic lights. Maybe can reach destination 5 mins earlier only.

i think i'm in love with a Bol'dor.

True. But S4 oil change can be 5000km or more cos volume of oil is more.

For small bikes like Wave, oil change 1800-2000km.

Difference is the FC. My old Cb400 was around 26km/L. Huge diff with Pulsar.
