After a good smile of the pros of the NS .... lets take a look at the downside ....

OK @umpl .... Pls take note of these issues

Hi,

I went to the service and I found, 4 NS lying in the bay area to get corrected. The service guys told that they are getting a lot of complaints for the NS. One had coolant leakage, had starting problem, one NS the gear was stuck.

Even my NS @ 2200 on ODO, I have faced a lot more problems.

1. Silencer lost the paint. Changed

2. Saree guard had rust. Changed

3. Even one of the spark plugs have got rust. Many of the bolts are catching rust.

4. Seat Cover came out, so seat was changed.

5. Horn Stopped working, got rectified.

7. The pass light is getting stuck when pressed. I have to manually make it right by releasing it. (Found today itself)

6. Gears have become hard, false neutrals (between 1 - N - 2 gear switch) are a often case. Also, while downshifting from 6 gear to 4, 3 or 2, I even need to leave clutch to get the gears placed at a particular gear. They said, it will be rectified at next service. Till then, I have to deal with it. They don't want to address the gear issue anyway.

Now, this is what we call premium bike. Than I'm very sorry to say.

After spending approx 1 Lakh all I have to do is visit Service station again and again to get things in order. This was even said by the service guy, that too many NS owners are visiting the bay for some thing or the other which you don't expect from the premium bike. Bajaj needs to take care of lot of things.

Hi guys.. just got my 1st ultra heavy downpour.. worn the cheaper rain coat and i am wet to my balls..

Do consider the proper rain coat and pants.. :(

I am now drying my shoes and socks in the office.. omg!

I also need to dry my pants but i will be half naked! so yea.. im suffering now!

I did zip up and button my top.. cover my rain coat over the rain pants.. and rain pants over my shoes.. IT DIDNT WORK!!! Coz it was leaking from where my balls are..

I am sure my balls are not leaking so it must be the pants.. haha

Maybe I should have waited 10 more mins.. let the rain die down first..

for 1 ff+armour jacket+drymaster+backpack = shad 48L top box with some space to space...(depends on size of backpack n shell size of helmet)

I had shad 45L box last time, didnt like it much, looks cheapo compared to Givi Simply or Kappa K46. Also its lid, when you open wont stay open, it will fall off. But may be Shad 48 is better quality.

But shad is still better than the Cheapo cheapo Zeus box that most pulsars have. Haha. Zeus box has that metal base plate and there is gap of like 1/2 centimeter between the baseplate and the box with rubber bushes in b/w. Overtime the gap increases due to pressure on the hinges and then the starts making noise.

Side panniers is nice, but too expensive, the whole thing will cost 180$ brand new at LAB, 2nd hand also cant get it cheap.

P200NS review by owner ....

something to laugh

"Most of the questions i get are from the petrol pump attendants.. The best one happened last weekend..

I pull into a pump on the highway early morning; the attendants are sleepy and are huddled around chai tapri. Suddenly one starts waving wildly at me, gesturing for me to stop. Expecting the worst, i stop to the side and he comes over and says "Your exhaust has fallen off!! how can you be so careless and not notice it yet"

you r using zeus 48L right?

that box cannot fit 2 x FF...

if just using open face, can just get a givi E450 sure can fit...

but shad 48L sightly more expensive compared to the givi E450...

but space is quite big...

i can squeeze in 2 FF,1 armour jacket,1 drymaster,1 pair of gloves...

need some arrangement and slight squeezing skills(depend on which armour mesh i wearing)...

if not go for the maxia...

sure enough space...

tried rain shoes before and don't feel comfortable in them...

LAB/Regina $15 - Lousy, leak after 2 use, slippery sole...

so decided to get a pair of riding boots...

now riding with army goretex boots...

put a zipper in front, wear and take off less than 10secs...

wear to work everyday and change out to safety shoes at workplace...

sole still slight slippery when on mscp floor...

but high cut and waterproof, looks not too bad under jeans/pants...

still on the look out for better cost effective solutions...

the new saf boots looks promising...

Go LAB or Regina. Got mine with thick rubber sole for $25. Cheaper model also have. Feet will be dry.

normally i wear Dr.Marten to ride.. quite comfortable and slightly high cut.. i spray water-proof spray during rainy days.. not too bad..

But when i go office.. i will wear Rockport dress shoes.. its waterproof.. but the pants leak water from ankle!! and makes it wet.. else its alrite.

Maybe when Dr.Marten is finished.. i will try the new Army Gortex.. it was issued during my last reservist..
