UG1 gives better FC....lol

Probably because UG1 motor generates 0.5 HP lesser than UG2, haha. Also UG1 fuel tank is larger capacity.

I think because most pulsars out there are P180, so TP think only 1 type of exhaust exists, lol. Its actually a nice compliment for our P200 exhaust if they LTA think its illegal. The P180 UG4 sorely misses the P200 exhaust, haha.

Some shops may be having, because last time I met a guy in UM who bought the P180 UG4 just 3 months ago brand new, its the one with dual color, red and black paintwork. Never seen that color on the road yet. Its the new batch.

I think he just wants to differentiate b/w the current version which is 18ltrs with the new P200NS which is 11Ltrs.

Actually they should have just given the new bike a new name, whenever I want to search info about P200 and google for P200 I get search results for P200NS, grrrrrrr...

To test if the bike is really wobbling.. what should I do apart from feeling the wobble?

I tried loosening my grip and let go of my hands slightly when travelling at 50km/h on a straight road and the handle bar just go wobbling..

I remember you guys mentioned that probably its the front steering cone bearing need to change rite?

If you also feel wobbling from the back tire.. what does it mean?

I have checked that both tires are properly inflated to 29-30psi..

To gain control again.. i off throttle and feel the engine brake first then on throttle slowly..

So many things to learn since getting the bike.. only 2 months and I have learnt so many things that school dun teach..

To test wobble sometimes you get it during accelerating, sometimes when you are engine braking. Mostly at 60-70 speeds. My bike had the issue and it turned out that Changing steering cones didn't help but changing tyres helped.

My tyres although we're Bridgestone, they were very old the mfr date was 28th week of 2009 so it had become very hard. See how old your tyre is it is written on the side wall.

It's hard to actually isolate the issue to tyre or the steering cone, but I would sa y if your tyres are old or worn change it 1st and then if the issue still exists change the steering cone. That should fix it.

Apparently pulsar wobbling is common and steering cone needs to changed especially after you buy a used bike.

Quite expensive though, I spent 70$ for steering cone and 120$ for tyre, but these issues are very irritating and difficult to live with, I am just glad that it got sorted out.

http://www.singaporebikes.com/forums/showthread.php/360332-selling-first-hand-pulsar-200-!

any idea what this part means?

" i've used it solely as a transport bike so the engine is gold, never overrevved (can't due to sprocket) so she'll continue to serve her new owner faithfully for a long time to come. "

what does he mean by overrev?

additional to what rev has mentioned..

do check your front and rear wheel bearings and swing arm.. inform the mech to check these items as well. if there's any issue in these items they're pretty easy to detect..

Gold? a non-reactive and inert engine? not to mention expensive to own?
