Tires thread are still quite deep.. i didnt manage to find the XXXX manufacturing date.. later will look at it again..

 

 

additional to what rev has mentioned..

do check your front and rear wheel bearings and swing arm.. inform the mech to check these items as well. if there's any issue in these items they're pretty easy to detect..

Checked that the tires are manufactured in 2011.. should be alrite.. so I eliminate factor by factor..

1) tire expiry date - OK

2) tire thread - OK

3) tire pressure - check

4) steering bearing - need to check

5) tire hardened - need to check

6) swing arm - need to check

 

went to pump tire at SPC.. front tire 28psi rear tire 31psi.. found that the pump is the analog scale type.. plug in "ding ding ding" already.. still got the wobble.. Wondering if the scale is accurate.. i went to Caltex at Clementi Ave 2 to pump again.. scale is digital type.. after 5 secs then beep! looks like the analog one may not be so accurate.. tml will know if the wobble is caused by under-pressure..

imho .. if u wanna use the bike for another 5 yrs ... than the price is ok cos its still a good bike

dont worry about the outlook of the bike ... once u got the bike you can refurbish its look to as good as new ... just see chief mobilenerd bike before and after hehehe

Yupp fully agree, one thing for sure, if the bike is from the pulsarians group it will be well taken care of compared to buying from someone who just treats the bike as a means of transport. 3.2k is good deal.just go and view the bike and if you see anything that needs to be done then you can probably negotiate.

Just tried turtle wax rubbing compound and armor all carnauba wax on her just now. She is gleaming. Even Charlton commented she is so clean.

What cheif mj said is true. Tighten the handlebar end weights. And use heavy ones. Not the cheap aluminium fancy looking... Or stick to stock or motovations... Really it worked! Hehe. Hope your problem solved soon. My steering cone is 41000 km old.

- Please ensure that your motorcycle is in good working condition

- Minimum safety attire: Jeans, covered shoes. Riders and pillions not meeting this requirement will be U-Turned

Depends on the type of damage, if the headlamp is scratched, need to change the whole thing will cost 200$. Repaint the whole bike will cost 300$.

 

If you are fussy about outlook I would say stay away from that bike as the owner has clearly mentioned he has been through few accidents and there is cosmetic damage.

 

Restoring outlook can be very expensive as it involves either changing parts or tinkering/repainting so you need to set aside 500$ for it.

 

I can understand newly passout 2B buyers usually college goers are very fussy about outlook.

Seriously, if outlook is important you should buy a bike from UM. They paint the bike really nice nice
