for UG3 and above its more straight fwd with addition of a external flasher relay...

with UG1 & 2 is to tap to the original relay...

in theory we know its straight fwd but hands on wise haven tried it out...

arthur has DIY the lights on his UG1...

so he should be better to explain...

it $15(material cost) 1 can drink(labour cost) fix by me....but dun worry we will conduct a hazard light course very soon. stay tune to this forum.

he's riding UG2...

might be cheaper if no need to get the relay...

last time heard from arthur before after he done up his, his signal indicator light on his display not working...

not sure if the wiring routing is the cause of the display not working...

Earlier my high beam was not working. Now my low beam is also not working, only pole light is working :cry:

This happened after last weeks rains, Its not the bulb. Its most likely the BCU and/or wires and/or switch.

I want to change the BCU, the left side switch and the right side switch, want to source it from India, but in the meanwhile is it offence to ride at night with only pole lights ON and headlight not ON?

buy n fix urself ar....i got spare stock bulb...$10. new sommore....want? if not oso pulser got bring in part frm india. cheap. u can get frm him. haha

No 1. nvr trust what u heard till u try.

No 2. refer to no1.

No 3. I heard bajaj is no good but i tried and it proof that what i heard is wrong.

No 4. I heard bajaj parts are hard to find but i heard wrongly. i saw full fairing bajaj, i saw bajaj gone for GP racing, n many more....

No5. my light bulb always on, but does eat my battery....no i open casing its still there....

haiya.....bro...The battery is 12v . and every time u turn on engine ur magneto will recharge it. The only issue it how much the watt does the signal relay consume. Unlike lights, signal relay uses little watts....

To assure u, most of the senior pulsarian have ever install these hazard lights. These knowledge have been pass down....

lets try not to hear wat pple say n see for your self. If it fail, try asking y it fail, wat make it fail, how can i improve on these failure to better result.

If it was bulb, I would have changed it right away, bro. But last time, low beam was working and high beam not working. I went to UM and Ah Tchie diagonised that the BCU is spoil. He did the diagonsis using second hand BCU and the headlamp started working, so not sure BCU or wiring/connectors issue, but surely not bulb issue.

Now low beam also not working. Again guessing its due to connectors/bcu/wiring. May be bulb also gone.

The thing is my left side and right side switch look so ugly and also they are not firm fixed to the handlebar and can be turned a bit. I try to tighten the screw no use. Then I removed the swiches, put some insulation tape on the handlebar and put back the switches. Now the switches are tight but there is a slight gap b/w the switch parts, I guess water went inside and so now my low beam not working

So I just want to change everything oneshot. Just that the prices at UM for the 3 parts will be 230$ :faint:

I can source this from India for 50$, so its heart pain to go to UM to get these changed when you know that it can be got for 1/4th the price if I wait for 3-4 months until a colleague of mine goes to India.

Hi guys.. what are the common things to check when there is a vibrating sound coming from the front after 20km/h? Sounded like from the speedometer..

I have checked

1) black tape all wires and use cable ties to secure the plastic cups which hold all the wires together

2) opened up front head cover and tightened all screws and nuts that hold the front lamp & no. plate

3) tried pressing on to LCD speedometer, mirror, cash card reader, plastic shield, number plate and tank

4) new tires and new brake pads

5) tightened bar ends too

6) with and without keychain

7) air filter cover secured tightly

Took up 3 hours and I still cant figure out where the sound is coming from.. haiz haiz..

O ya.. i managed to secure the front signal light.. hell of a job man..
