4.00pm - Chendol Time!!

5.00pm - Move off to Dinner via trunk road

6.30pm - Kg Pendas Malay Seafood Dinner (113km)

8.00pm - Go Home...

then then hor, the cons u all experience so far is wat beside the slow pick up??

 

And hor, i think last week or wat i spotted a blue pulsar on SLE, the rider wearing light blue tee, 9am still on the road not in office, then hor got box still not enough, hanging a yellow plastic on the right side handle bar..

 

and the rider... is in this thread de..

And hor, happen that day the road got accident.. car bang lorry i think, the car's bonnet went under the back of the lorry..

the slow pickup depends on size ratio of spoc whether its rxz or stock. the more the teeth, the lesser d pickup thus distance increase. the lesser d teeth, pickup increase thus distance decrease. dis is wat i know. plse correct me if im wrong.

I know this question has been asked before countless times, but been paging back, only see P200 or UG3 teeth count. Anyone any idea what's the stock rear sprocket teeth count for UG2? Cuz i checked mine and it's 44. Thinking of going down.

 

Anyone using 41/2 and has a combined pillion + rider wt of around 140-150? Care to share experiences?

come on la.. even universal motors change my front sprocs using rxz ones. lol... apart from slow pickup, perhaps a bit higher fc at lower ends cos need to throttle more to compensate the slower pickup.

anyway, less teeth doesn't mean got higher top speed. that was what i thought. but after changing, my top speed is from 117km/hr to 114km/hr. even after changing, the pickup is very weak from 110km/hr onwards. but the best thing about lower rear sprocs is that i can cruise at 90-110km/hr with much lesser vibrations.

well the theory is based on a bike with infinite power

but in real life for our bike, the power is only so much. smaller rear sprockets might increase the top speed, but our bike not enough power to extend to the higher end. especially if you match that with a bigger front sprocket. it will be an even greater difference in ratio, so top speed is sacrificed.

UG2 stock rear spocket is 43... anyway i dont think the difference will be big by changing down 1-2 teeth (provided got that size for UG2). i am using 38/39 teeth now. alone still ok lah. but if got pillion den must be a good boy and stay behind the car and move off together. haha.
