uehh? yours is the normal fuse that any electrical shop sells!

 

its a 3 pin plug fuse. usually sold in the 13amp variant. you can use that for your bike. bloody cheap. or you can always steal from a 3 pin plug that you dont use.

 

same size like the fuse use in 3 pin plug.. but Nemesis say own is using 10A wan.

my insurance is due... is it better to call the insurance company myself or go back to UM and ask them to get it done for me? Will they charge me admin fee for that?

I feel the acceleration had improved, vibration had reduced. You can install on your bike and try it before purchasing it.

FC wise I am not too sure as I just got it ytd, but from what I heard from Weiqiang that Revtec would reduce the RPM, thus improve FC. The box stated that improvement of FC would depend on rider style.

actually it's an easy task. any neighbourhood motor shop also can do it for u. the one near my place, if you are thick skin enough, can ask them to tighten for u free. but usually i change my EO there then at the same time ask them to tighten it for me.

i have it on my bike too. at the start, you can feel it does lessen the vibration. but might be due to psychological effect also. nevertheless, after riding pulsar for almost a year, i am used to the vibration liao.

 

reduce rpm... i dont think it's very observable. got also rather minimum.

 

stabilize voltage... quite all right. my volt meter reading is rather consistent.

 

improve fc... like increase my fc rather than improve it leh. or maybe cos i ride faster or gain weight compared to before i got revtec.

i was intending to go for oil change on monday as previous owner did it at ard 14k..i was hitting 16.5k already. then sunday night as i was going back sch it dried up and piston jam and now needs overhaul for maybe $500+?

revtec is a small blue box. main purpose is to stablise the voltage.

dun think theres a best idling rpm. mines about 1.2 to 1.3 krpm when warmed up.

 

 

FC depends on a number of factors:

 

1. how you calculate your FC. If you calculate based on a full tank of 16litres.. then perhaps u have not squeeze in enough petrol. this takes skill

its more accurate to calculate with your mileage and amount of petrol pumped (meaning u have to record it at a petrol station)

 

2. riding style is aggressive. quick pickups and high revs will reduce FC.

 

3. mods that affect FC. bigger tyres, bigger front or smaller rear sprockets, aftermarket parts (e.g. cdi) will all affect FC negatively. even an under-inflated tyre.

 

4. leaking fuel tank. unlikely but u never know

 

5. theres a sucker stealing your petrol regularly

 

6. fuel evaporating

 

7. its gets more ridiculous so i'll stop here
