Medical not yet include...Pain & suffering --> At least few thousand dollars.

 

Confirm smooth 3rd party insurance claim in 6 to 8 months from now.

 

UM is currently in progress submitting my bike repair bill and damage survey report to my lawyer for claim proceeding.

No abrasion on right hand due to good leather gloves, but it will not protect your hand from sprain or fracture injury.

 

My white helmet even got silver reflective sticker same as TP, the taxi driver must be sleeping or totally act blurred...

 

He gave stupid excuses that his taxi is too close to my bike, 'thinks' that I will beat the amber light, tired and rushing for time due to passenger request.

 

And also said that nobody wants these to happen.

 

It is just like killing a person without any remorse.

 

Confirmed 100% 3rd party insurance claim from the taxi driver :

 

1) The taxi driver admitted that he is in the wrong to TP and TP told me to claim from him with 2 choices : Private settlement or make a police report and claim 3rd party insurance.

2) At first, he is willing to pay for my bike repair at UM, but as the cost is estimated $1300, he asked me to claim his 3rd Party Insurance as his budget not more than $900.

3) IDAC confirmed that the taxi head hit bike rear based on the photos taken at accident site.

 

The taxi company apologised to me the next day saying that the taxi driver could not avoid the collision as he is tired, #$@! rubbish, tell that to the judge or TP, see what's the reply from them ?

Luckily, I had applied both front and rear brakes when my bike was stationary at the stopline.

 

If not, the reckless taxi driver will have kill me and die on the spot.

 

The taxi driver told me that he did not have time to apply any emergency braking and he swerve his taxi to the right side but still cannot avoid the collision as his taxi is very close to my bike and also travelling at high speed at that time, had no intention to slow down upon reaching the junction with the red traffic light condition.

haha, 100km? its nothing la. its true dat kind of speed is dangerous but u will get used to it if u try. i wacked 100-110 everyday on a highway. anyone who

tries dat spd on normal roads r either a pro or a gone case. but ive seen alot lately. hehehe.

 

Errhh 100km ah.. Ok lar on weekends when I drive my girlfriend's company car Honda Jazz I don't dare to hit 110km when just me and gf in car. I can feel the car like almost lifting off the road, quite a light car.

 

If bike is even lighter, I'm gonna be more afraid haha. I'll stick to last two lanes on highway then.

We do not promote speeding in our team. How fast a rider intend to go is base on his confident and skill in handling his bike.

 

We only travel according to the max speed limit in the country we're traveling in.

 

Example

 

Singapore - 90km/h

NorthSouth Highway - 110km/h

Errrhhh I know speeding is not advised in any forum or any team unless you're in pro racing =x. What I mean is even like in a car when I drive on first lane I usually go 10km over limit (unless speed camera) and its quite reasonable usually singapore max 90 so my max is 100.

 

And if I'm at speed limit I will become road hog liao leh people will overtake from left and if i'm at second lane I feel like too slow.

Hey guys, i know there's been discussion for this before, but for the 6-hole rear sprocket of the UG2.0, besides UM is there anywhere else to change it at? As in, any other bike's sprockets can fix? Cuz i called UM they only had size 44 left and won't be bringing in smaller sizes. Everyday ride expressway the bike like going to die like that.

 

If don't have then i think maybe time to change rim already. Maybe change to something that can hold fatter rear tyre, haha. And while doing that, maybe monoshock swingarm if can find any.

i rember one shop in AGL not hou heng shop. got 6 hole sprocket for UG2. slightly cheaper than UM. UM selling S$70 full set + chain. AGL selling like RM$120-140 4got liao..

eh cool, man, if it's really can put 4 hole on a 6hole hub i happy liao. for the longest time wanted to change sprocket. just to check, your pulsar, got killswitch? or the killswitch there is empty lobang one?

i jus rember around 1yrs ago when Hou heng wanted to chage my rear sprocket. they took out and found out is 6 holes wan. which they don have. LL put back..

 

and now they have already?

 

Ur is jus change front/rear sprocket + chain only? if that is so.. cant be.. as need to change the whole hub to 4 holes hub to fit 4 holes sprocket..

 

btw see ur pic, urs is ug3. ug3 all is using 4 holes wan..

only some ug2 or can say older batch of ug2 is using the 6 holes wan .. like me..

related, but sidetrack abit. anyone has an old 6-hole sprocket lying around at home that i can borrow? wanna take n go around some bigger bike shops to see if there are any other possible replacements.

 

Rather than have each shop rip apart the sprocket form my bike and fitting it back again, easier to bring a sample for them to see/compare against.

Its either battery or retifier going to be gone liao... battery dunno how much. but rectifer cost $50 bucks
