Imagine the TP who receive the same reason from all different Pulsar owners... I think he would simply ignore chasing after Pulsar since he would expect the same reason at the end of the day.

 

Haa.. Quite true.. This is all psychology.. Imagine u are the authority urself.. If u get this type of reason which is rather crap to u.. 2 choices u have.. 1st is to slap the bugger with a warning + fine.. (This will definitely results to Pulsarians appeal appeal and still appeal..) Eventually the authorities will still relent I supposed.. Another option is he siao on,,, he will go back to reflect on the incidents, and no smoke no fire.. Once there is a 1st reporting,, there will b more to come on their side.. Subsequently there will definitely b Black and White indicating our plates to b ON TOP to b visible AT ALL TIMES...

 

So watever the crap outcome, we juz wait for things to happen at the meantime.. Most important thing is, we never violate ANY LAW... :cheeky:

anyone put a clip on clock onto your handle bar?

any idea where i can get 1 that is weather resistant?

cos i have been putting 1 which is meant for the inside of a car and then when it rains water will sip into the clock then after a few times it will spoil liao.

 

also any recommended handle grips?

Buy cheap one less than $10 wrist watch lo can solve and no one want to kapoh/steal them

very interesting about the plate, i did ask UM the other time, they told me it's stock, so far no complaint from LTA that all older models need to shift the plate up.

 

however for the lights, i kenna at UM, but not the 1 we go to, it's another workshop further down, the mechanic put a scew on the light switch, it's to prevent me from off it. i ask him y put, he said lta told them to do so if spotted. but after he put in, i took the screw out, now very ugly, got 1 hole.

 

morning time i also dont on my headlight. but i put it to centre where the "2 eyes" n tail lights r on. becareful that if u put to off, the tail light is also off, i think tp will spot that, cos very obvious. for the front, even in bright daylight, it's very difficult to c if on. i think we r using stock 35v, that's y very dim.

Bro its an offence to not switch on your headlamp in the day. No matter how dim the main lights are I will switch it on 100%. Bikes are already hard to spot compared to other vehicle on the road.Imagine riding without headlights.

 

Are our two side light consider motorcycle main headlights? They seemed useless to me other then for decoration purposes.

 

What do you gain even if you switch the main headlight off? save electricity or lamp life?

 

I personally have a grudge against those who do not turn on their light and I think it is foolish because of a few incident where I hear a bike engine screaming but the bike is no where in sight, then seconds later a kup kia or scrambler without its headlight on zoom pass infront of me,

Try cover it with a nice plastic... it last. It works for me... so far... my clock have no problem.

Regarding the light... It will be GOOD and must to on ur headlight in the day. I got a couple of near accident where driver claim that they never see.( F them, my head light is on... somtime i even on my two FOG light... and yet they cannot even see 3 x light !!!)

 

Recently i testing out a new method. I try to on my HIGH BEAM during the day. From reflection of the car, i notice that even with stock bulb and daylight. HIGH BEAM light is noticable by other road users. but the road is clear, i switch off my high beam.

 

Pulsarian, Try switching on ur high beam in the day during heavy traffic and off it when the traffic is light.

Confirmed 1st tank = 45.4 km/litre

 

Only thing - so slow cos im keeping to 65 km/hr

Sometime, even rider cannot notice if their bulb is faulty or not. I come across a few during the night. NO taillight but got head light.

Did UM change any parts from that 135cc bike.. When i was in india a month ago i saw their newsapaer that 135cc bike equiped with both front and rear disc brake but how come it turn out only the from with disc brake??

guys, you can try this method in the day. try switching between high and low beam and see the difference your own visibility in the reflection of the car in front. low beam is really too feeble to be seen in the day, seems like high beam is the only way to go

 

on another note, how much does your front suspension sag on a standard load? my fork seems to bottom out on even the smaller humps at low speed. do i need to adjust anything? its like sagging almost 5cm when im on the bike. is this normal?

went 2 c how dyno test works. quite interesting.i heard in Indonesia/India, pulsar can be "dynojeted" til dey can reach 160km/h. duno wether true or not.
