hey guys.. roughly how to get to the gokart track at jb? really intrested but sg wan is blady ex..

Some info for you guys. Sngapore's first 'real' go-kart racing track will be up in Jan 08 at Tuas. Target 4 rounds championship with 1 endurance race.

You need to be a member & have your very own kart.

own go kart is expensive :( remembered when I was still in shorts looking up to my daddy and tugging his LEE jeans at Kallang to get me one go-kart, he took a namecard from the guy there and asked about prices and never brought me back there to watch again :'( now a days I look straight at him thinking, "man I had not bought that thankfully" :p

It's true, karting is not a cheap sport. But you can start by buying a 2nd hand costing from 3K. Brand new cost from 10K with race engine. Fyi, Karting Club Of Singapore will be having their regular practice this coming Sunday @ Kallang Car Park C. Those interested can pop by your quieries.

i saw this way late lol. dang! :cheeky:

 

Don't worry. It's totally not worth anything.

Went to the one in CCK like 3 weeks ago.

The track is so tight, there's not even any space to turn, and the karts are darn slow, i could probably outrun it on foot. We didn't even bother.

 

Go to Permas Jaya track for the real thing. It's really fun racing there!

only 2 places i've been to with real go-karts is Kart-World at Taman Jurong s$40/10mins (Singapore), and Permas Jaya (Johor) RM$35/10mins.

 

Obviously, Permas Jayas is the place to go...

 

is there any plc in SG where got go-cart open to public???? or nearby in jb???

any plc u guys can recommend??? cheap n good??
