Ya, like what Jamez said, i am riding a '03 Wide Glide. They call it the FXDWG. I am at the midst of arranging a ride with Jamez. Maybe you would want to come along.... Jamez, what say you? 4 days of public holidays. :D

may i check with all of you, $15,000 for a 6 year old harley sportster is worth the buy? may all of you give me any tips on buying a used harley davidson sportster? I also want to know what are the things that i should look out for?

please allow me to introduce myself. i am in my 20s who fell in love with the feeling and relaxation of riding a harley sportster after i test ride a friend's over 10 years old sportster 2 weeks back. For a moment on a harley i forgot all my problems on my mind. with my pairs of hands stretch up high on the tall handles, my right hand turning the gas without any previous experience, the exhaust gave up a loud harley authentic deep bass exhaust sound while i was slowly making a left turn. Fom then onwards, i finally know how it feels riding a harley davidson and i fell in love with it. I will look forward to owning my very own harley soon so i can enjoy this special riding experience whenever i want.

The new Iron 883 has got to be the best looking sportster right now (other than the R)

it's gonna go like hot cakes.

I think it's gonna go a long way.

well if ya look at it itz actually a Nightster with a smaller engine and cast mag wheels. The wheels made it look better...for me anywayz...

Depends on which sportster you are talking about. The 1200 or the 883. As for the 883, a new one is a little less than 20K if I am not wrong. I think you can get a 5 year old 883 for a little cheaper.

Everybody falls. It is how fast you can get back up that makes the difference

Rides:

When we next meet up.... now that i just changed the MC, it has a squeaky sound when i apply the front brakes hard. Is that normal? No sound from the brakes with my old spongy MC leh.... why is that so.... needs to season the new one is it?

Hi there everyone,

i am sorry if i interrupted all of your conversations. I have a small enquiry that i would like you all to help me out. I am going to buy over my friend's 1994 harley sportster 1200 and i am actively looking for a motorcycle shop that could provide a reloan scheme for it. I have enquire 2 motorcycle shops. The first motorcycle shop i went did not provide reloan scheme for Harley Davidson bikes redirected me to the Harley Davidson Dealer at Alexandra Road (Which i have just emailed them about it and i am waiting for the reply). While the second motorcycle shop told me they do not provide reloan scheme for very old bikes and told me to find a harley sportster 1200 ranging to 5 years old to date.

Does anyone know of any motorcycle shop that could provide reloan scheme for this 1994 Harley Sportster? :cry:
