very organized, categorized, neat and tidy. but at the same time, i think perhaps we can do away with the garage sales, used bikes and request section? to prevent repeat postings.

For the time being, will let the classified section run and it should serve all SBF members well. All worthy changes required to be implemented should happen and make the classified section easy & friendly to use.

As a/m, the management will be discussing and to set a timeline for members to transfer their personal and used item to the classified. For repeat postings, it just the character of the TS. Having a item on sale and creating multiple threads does the sale no good as it'll be consider as spamming to some and later complaining that they still receiving calls for item already sold? So who's fault?

MO have a delicate section. Moreover, alot of members will like to correspond with service-orientated MO provider like bro echo you.

Once the one who started the ads updates the status as "SOLD IT", it should be removed in a week.

Wow, finally it's back! It has been a year, having to cope with the garage sales...

 

Thanks to the mods for reinstating a proper classifieds section. Much clearer and more usable.

I think it will take sometime for ppl to post it in the the classified section. ppl were used to buy & sell in the forum. Echo was right, maybe can consider remove the garage sale forum.

I think it is useful to have a section Motorcycles/For Sale/Not road legal where people can sell pocket, pit, motocross, race or simply deregistered bikes

I think the pictures should be larger. Clicking on 'supersize' results in the exact same credit card sized picture..

There is no way to go back to the main post to edit the details (ex: price revised,etc...)

yeap. the enlarged version of the pic is way too small.. also better to enforce certain description fields according to the product.

eg: if bike, u will have year, millage.. etc etc. helmet or accessories will have size, color etc etc.. the the current description field will be use for things like any thing special about the product, such as modifications, limited editions.. so on n so forth.
