Compact new-design rubber belt CVT transmission for outstanding performance

 

To accomodate the increased displacement of the engine, a new-design rubber-belt Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) has been adopted. In combination with the wet type multi-plate automatic centrifugal clutch, it offers very smooth running performance. This CVT unit features a highly practical design that positions the drive shaft on the right-hand side (opposite from a conventional scooter). This makes it possible employ a slight amount of torque occurring before deceleration in the ratio control to increase reliability while also making more efficient use of design space.

just tat technology of scooter have jump abit fast.

actually the tmax have been ard for quite some time..just tt not many of us take notice.. :smile:

Anyway in taht case better not to use automotive engine oil for the T-max... for other more conventional scooters it's not so bad!

Hi All,

 

Just completed ride from Penang to Bangkok 19/8 - 26/8

 

Total cost (budget ride):-

 

1) Insurance + Roadtax (1 month) = Bht260 (RM26)

3) Petrol (max RON95, min RON91) (Pg Bangkok) = Bht 3200 (RM320)

4) Food + Trpt + sight seeing in Bangkok = Bht1,340 (RM134)

5) Hotel (share 3ppl per room)= Bht2,590 (RM259)

 

 

Total = Bht 7,390 (RM739)
