Depending on what full face helmet u talking about. I think u can get a scrambler full face rather than normal racing full face. It look nicer on s4 rider. Which i think of getting one. s4 is not racing bike, therefore racing full face not suitable.

Strongly agreed!!!!! The same idea that i'm having also.

Hi guys, are u all using full face or open face helmet ? Cuz im very tempted to use a full face helmet but will it be like so weird for S4 rider to wear a full face? Cuz in my personal opinion, i feel that full face are more for sports bike/scrambles... What about u guys opinion? :cheeky:

i ride all my bikes (kups included) with a Arai/Shoei full faced helmet, even to the market.

it doesnt really matter what bike u ride for you to choose what helmet u wear to suit... its like wat hachi said.. its a matter of how much u value ur LIFE....

last time i also have the immature thinking of riding small bike wear FF looks like an idiot... but thankfully when i had my first fall i was wearing a full face at that time... and i was riding a phantom at that time... after that i was wearing FF all the way be it rain or shine...

so bottom line it is still how much u treasure ur life...

i have a fellow biker bro... he had an accident a few months back... before the accident, all the way he was wearing a half face till one fine day of that accident... his eyelid got bloodied.... his lips got torn and a tooth went missing ( on the road or in the drain ) when i went to the hospital to meet him he keep repeating this sentence "must wear full face ah.... must wear full face ah" until i laughed....

anyway for those that wants to wear a full face but afraid that they wont wear long due to some reasons like not used to it or too hot.... you guys can try MHR full face now its selling around $100+.. that helmet really safe my face from getting scratched... my chin from getting broken... not that i am advertising but i'm jus letting you guys know through my experience and my 2 cents woth of advice....

ride safe guys....

Guys, how about we ride S4 but use motard type of full face, you think looks funny or not???? Thread starter, sorry to place this quiries in your thread. Looks like more to streetfighter type i guess...

I have a friend who wears the full face motard helmet...From my point of view, it makes you look aggressive on the road..Not bad looking..even i myself wud wear my Off Road FF helmet at times..but one bad thing abt wearing Off Road FF is that, wen u cheong at 110km/h for 20 mins, i take it off, my neck wud be able to feel the strain. This is due to the visor being pushed up by the wind which caused the helmet to sort of pull ur head back, and ur using of neck muscles to try and push the helmet back down...

Can consider a flip up ba, singapore weather is hot, so when caught in a jam, can juz flip the helmet up, so more air. flip also has better protection as compare to open face but still not as safe as a full face.

True bro...i've seen flip-ups split into two...best bet full face...but seriously in singapore, i'd use a flip-up due to the humid weather...

safety or funny... the choice is yours....

would you rather suffer a chin or face abrasion??

Or would you rather be laugh for a slight moment at the road??

the riders who know the importance of a FF will not laugh at you.

Those who does laugh at you, you dun stand to lose anything, niether do they gain anything.... simple as that..

can see quite a number of FF helmet being sold at the garage sales thread...

ride safe today,ride again tomorrow

safer to buy new ff helmets...we could never see hairline fracture in the helmet should they be dropped before ...... these little stress fracture might be costly should u ever need it in time of danger. ..

better spend abit more ..dun buy a nice helmet, buy a good helmet that will protect..

my 2 cents worth

bro dont be so concern with what others might think. It's for your own safety. I myself wore gloves, riding jacket and full face helmet to work and back.

Though people might fine it strange for me to don all that garbo under the 9am & 5pm sun, I have this assurance that if something goes wrong I'm a bit protected from harm.

I have 2 lady colleagues in my studio riding an R6 and Vespa fully equipping themselves to the teeth when on the road. Well bro what do u have to say about that?

Safety my brother is important...

If your latest plan seems absent of me... There is nothing I can do...

Yah man, FF is good, even EXtreme games BMX riders wore them on half pipes. I got the flip up FF and jz got the mesh armor jacket recently, suprisingly they are cooling coz of the mesh design which regulates air flow around. Its up to individual, I put on my gear whenever I can especially to 2nd link. Safety has no boundaries, at the end of the day, its all for the riders choosing it. Be wise, think safety, home safely.

Yeah man, go get and FF if u want to, remember these things protect you the moment you move off on your bike, you will never know when it will be put to a test and hope that it will never have to...S4 can go at crazy speed sometimes (jz to catch up with the rest of CL2 bikes when in M'sia)...so good choice made..
