I recalled someone posted some sort of like a guide for pillions but i can't seem to find it anywhere anymore.. anyone still have it? will be a great read imo

Speed is about control, control comes from your wrist.

An accident will cause you to lose your wrist, which in turns leads to losing control and eventually speed.

Think twice before twisting your wrist.

If this is the first time your pillion ride with you, my advice is to put aside a few minutes and give a briefing with the pillion to tie down understandings before you move off. Quite malu if miscommunicate, bike peng and both fall down.

Actually so far I find the most dangerous pillion is the one who COUNTER your weight when you take a corner... and the one who does NOT know how to wear a helmet properly....

tried to do that but i didn't really know what to tell her.. its her first time ever on a bike you see.. i just told her to relax don't tense up, don't fidget when the bike turn just follow the motion and don't distract me thats all.. seems like she's doing all the opposite of what i told her... :slapforehead:

wah. got pillion still want to play corner ar? New inexperienced pillion summore. You hero lah you.

For me, i just ask a simple question before anyone hops on my bike. "Been on a bike before?" if yes, just go. If no, then i go into further detail.

For me, if anyone is to ride pillion with me, they must rest their chest on my back. Or if thats to cushy-cushy feely-feely, i tell them either lean on me (or close to me), or get off. I am not getting into trouble if my pillion flies off the back of my motorcycle.

For more experienced pillions, i just have one instruction. If i slap your hips, its time for you to dig your knees into my waist: its corner time. ^_^

Sorry bro... It was not abt playing corners... just a slight tilt of the bike when filtering from expressway to normal road... when the pillion counters, you can feel it even a slightest tilt :)
