for those using grease on chain, you will need wd40 to clean the chain every month, otherwise, you can try sticking your index fingers up your chain guard and you will get one generous amount of grease that got flung all round.

and also dont forget the front sprocket area.

grease are not recommended for the o ring.

For every 7 pounds you lose, you gain one horsepower.

any1 put their scottoiler at any place other than underseat of the rider? would like to find out if there's any other place to put it so i can fully utilize the space below the rider's seat..

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

i use manual scottoiler. just a small bottle kept under the seat, take out and apply a little on the sprocket and chain before i ride off while waiting for bike to warm up. btw, the scottoil flings a lot!

and save $160 on the whole scottoiler assembly!

Been using the one MO in SBF currently (Motorex) for a yr now .. Been so gd so far .. does fling , but not too badly overall.. compared to my last one which was motul chain lube.. motorex is better n more value for money esp now got M.O ..

As for the Chain Cleaner .. plan to try it out soon ..

Nex i think i'll try Maxima chain wax.. heard lots of gd reviews .. but its a little more pricey ..

Try this product, VOLTRONIC M50 (same can bottle in this link but the colour is brownish orange). It has a small sprout out spray nozzle and a cap on it to prevent you from accidentally pressing on it.

http://www.voltronic-germany.com/Adhesive-Lube-M50.htm

No worry for the fling, try WD40 or SC80 (Cheaper) and spray a bit on the rim, use a cloth to wipe it, super easy, fast and kilat brosss.

I got this product from Foo Soon Heng Motor Repair (Autopoint AMK)

WD40 as chain lube?...Better avoid bro..from my experience wd40 causes rubber seal to swell. If your using o ring or x ring, get a purposed chainlube.

"Irreplaceable"

Just fyi..

Cheapest Maxima Chain Wax / Chain Guard is $20 at BikeWorkz (Kaki Bukit Ind). I'm referring to the big can, not the small one.

Mustafa is selling it for $24.70 now.

tried all kinds of chain lube, but chain wax is the most "non-fling".

Both Maxima chain wax & Castrol chain wax is best. LAB castrol chain wax is cheapest.
