guys,

 

main reason why it's more hazy in west than in east is because of Wind & Location.

 

think~.... haze come from indo area and at this current season, we are having the inter monsoon coming soon with the ending of south west monsoon hence as s'pore is in the middle of almost everything, we kanna lor....

 

why west more hazy and not east??

 

- west is closer to sumatra area and as wind blow them over, naturally west is affected more and as wind from the south china sea comes, it created a halt in between which results in the haze not being blow over to the eastern side of s'pore which is why east isn't that hazy.......

 

Beside that, west side is mainly all industrial areas which will also more or less contribute some of it making it worse.

 

the concept is similar to the northeast and southwest monsoon season.....

which is y during monsoon seasons rain/thunderstorm occurs more at west than east most of the time......

 

anyway the haze will be clearing up pretty soon. according to the forecaster, by mid oct the haze would have clear up pretty much as the wind direction change.

 

hope that will help clear everybody's worries//....:cheeky:
