Why drivers lane change when they can just drive straight?

    • Driving in SG road is boring, no pot holes to lookout, hence lane change lor

    • Get into accident to make life more exciting. Go IDAC, TP HQ, Insurance Company, Pay money

These are the scenarios that I always observe:

 

Heavy/Peak-Hour Traffic

I noticed during the peak hour when all lanes are occupied and at the crawling speed, there are drivers who DIE DIE have to do lane change when there is a small gap coz he/she tinks the other lanes are faster and caused the E'way to be even slower moving as the cars have to stop to give way to the fuggers. WHAT'S GOT INTO THEIR MIND?

 

Bikes/Superbikes Infront of the Car

When there are bikes or superbikes in front of them moving at moderately fast speed (say 10-20km/h above speed limit), cars just cannot be behind the bike knowing jolly well that bikes will be out of their sight before they know it. WHAT'S GOT INTO THEIR MIND?

for the first part> they think the other lane is faster ??

 

 

part 2 > i dun think they know bikes are faster and they never will else maybe the driver can see 2t smoke coming out hence overtake lor

Haha.. Maybe because Cars thinks they are big shots on the roads because they pay more? Thus cannot bear to see bikes in front of them get out of their sight before they knew it... It all lies in the driver..

Yeah die die must tailgate. Just let them overtake lor. Don't need to get so worked out. It's hard to change driving habits.

It seemed like cars are given more leniency everywhere... Can only think of two reasons, 1. they pay more to be on the road, 2. kena hit also kindda safer coz lesser chance of getting injured compared to a bike...

bros, not that i get worked out over their driving habits but i pity those riders being overtaken without dignity. those drivers treat them like dirts and overtook them dangerously. i jz dun wish anything to happen to them. for their inflated ego, i dun wanna become eye-witness of an accident. afterall these riders juz wanna get from A to B safely but these drivers put these riders fate on their hand jz like GOD. When accident happens, they will jz say:

 

1. Didn't see/riders invisible

2. rider speeding

3. rider travel between lanes

 

most of the drivers are clumsy yet wanna act like F1 racer. when accident happened, they use law or black-and-white or by-the-book.

 

There are several times my gf screams when the car from my left, lane change when i m jz beside him. Btw, his lane is clear. What the hell.

Car drivers will always lane change and try to force you out of the lane even when you're on the most left lane..They just couldn't be bothered to turn their heads to check their blindspots and their hands are too heavy to activate the signal switch..o_O

just when i back from my RC from SSDC,i saw :

 

a BMW ( WAH WAH WAH!!! ) cut my little runner from left then back to right from red light.runner pick up is faster then other bike cause it a scooter mah,auto on as what u all know.

but the SUPER BMW just cut like super F1 and to be honest...i nearly fell due to his speed + too near to my bike when he *ZOOM* pass me...

 

after tat i reach another red light...i saw an R1 ( donno which version ) green colour.wheelie and zoom off after red turn green.....

he was wearing,short + slippers...

 

 

after all...in SG,driver are stupid..cause they cant even handle a 2 wheel and only in a 4 wheel...

just like * donno how to use chopstick but know how to use fork *

Ex - Yamaha R1.

Ex - Suzuki Hayabusa.

Ex - Yamaha Spark.

Ex - Yamaha Tmax.

Current -

ya something like tat bah..i donno what tat R1 was thinking but he did a wheelie then zoom off beside the bmw...mabe he saw how fast the bmw was coming to the redlight when he was relexing there.:weep:

Haha... just like how they wanted a cyclist lane.... end up still have to share with pedestrian... People have made things so very complicated in this very small country...

Maybe should allow us in bus lanes? If not wrong, some countries in Europe allow this.

Just like riders who suka suka change lane, as in lane split even during NON-PEAK hours.. Some riders use d lane markings as if its a lane for bikes.. No wonder, they make life more difficult for drivers to change lane and sometimes even get knocked down when cars wanna change lane...

 

Sometimes its not drivers dun check properly before changing lane.. its jus dat.. d way riders ride on d lane markings..they make themselves invisible for d drivers, jus making life difficult for them... if riders can stay inside a lane during non-peak hrs, when ther is no jams, it will be better for themselves and for other road users..!

But rider suka suka change lane if kana car its still the rider life at risk.

 

If car anyhow change hit bike still the biker life at risk

Don't drivers, and riders too, learn how to check blindspots during training? :) A family car is hardly the size of a truck, bus or any other big vehicle where there's a lot more to look out for.

then car drivers will hate bike riders for taking up one whole lane....
