LoL do you know how your choke works firstly? ;)

eh......if i am not mistaken ah....it opens a valve to let in more air to change the air to fuel ratio??

well... when you pull the choke the fuel to air ratio increases...

too rich might kill off the engine instead...

maybe your fuel to air ratio was already rich in the first place... pulling the choke would suffocate the engine...

I don't ever pull my choke... I rather increase the idling speed a little bit

hey..u got it wrong...it reduces the air...while it takes in more petrol....so that it is easier to start engine...

on the other hand too much fuel will instead cool and wet the spark plug making it hard to spark properly...

u know a bit salt is tasty...adding more of it to the food...make it taste aweful..something like that..

A choke is used in conjunction with a carburetor. It is a valve that opens and closes to restrict air flow, the restriction enriches the fuel/air mixture to aid in the initial startup of the vehicle. The choke creates a stronger vacuum to pull more fuel from the jets and into the air/fuel mixture. When the engine warms up the choke slowly releases and stays in the wide open position.

what I said is a much simplified version of how the choke works... i.e. to enrich the fuel to air ratio... and for phantoms, the choke does not release itself :cheeky:

stop spying on me!!

hey ta200 dont have auto choke..it is all manual..u activate it u stop it.

most modern carburated cars

have auto chokes..but fuel injection makes this redundant...

very soon all bikes will be fuel injection too..

most prob piston ring problem, which is causing EO to leak into e exhaust, dunno whether ur pistons itself got problem onot. i would suggest towing it to ur preferred bike shop and hope the damage is not alot... if really piston damaged, nd to overhaul which might cost about $400... :)

of course if u wanna know which is a reliable workshop, usually everyone would tell u one name... u can PM me if u wanna know, P*****...

yea bro ah chong also say its probably a problem with the piston..but the thing is my friend just changed the piston like 6 months ago at planet...so its abit harsh to have to change piston and ring again in just 6 months..ns man so financially tight summor...so i wanted to find out if there were any other cheaper alternatives or smth like that...thanks though!
