Hey guys, i have a problem.

 

everytime you turn on the ignition key, there wil be 2 lights lighting up on your dashboard: 1 will be the gear positioning and the other will be a red light showing the temperature water thingy.

 

What is that light indicates? Coz sometimes, i do have that light turn on while riding?

is my engine hot?

low in coolant?

or overheating?

guys wad insurence for spark is cheapest for a 19 yr old ? i asked mitsui they quote 1294 for 3rd party ! and ntuc for 1100+ can't rem exect amount.

frm wat i know...1L can travel 40km.

 

But from full tank...i travelled abt 70km...

my fuel meter when down to half.

izit normal?

 

1 L = 40km

2L = 80km

Fuel meter at F = 4L

Fuel meter at half = 2L = 80km

wat do u think?

 

IceZ maybe u never pump petrol full enough? i very kiasu pump till when putting back the cover can almost touch the petrol

i also just got my spark 1L can 50km

half tank mark around 100km

mine all fully stock, maybe u mod it into super bike then i dont know la

erm. i haven check. I just got the bike heh. 1st time on cubs(but the bike's pre-owned) .. i know there's a fan behind the radiator. does it actually cools down the temp? seems like not working coz i cant hear it spinning. but the funny thing is, it the light turns off after 80kmh. so i suspect its overheating. i haven gone for a full service coz i just got the bike last week. might go down to a bike shop to flush coolant (scared the system got choked) or check on the radiator cap. but another funny thing is, there are some coolant left on the spare tank. ???? funny laaa...

if you're using aftermarket CDI... raidiator might not work. stock one works.

 

btw... personally i have NOT ridden the bike until the fan kicks in... the liquid cooled system is very good....

 

give the coolant level a check... see whats up then decide bah...
