i intend to DIY spray my bike matt black/white color scheme...do i stil need to sand down the stock body panels first? if i skip the sanding phase, what would happen in long run?

if u weld ur pipe..sekali suay suay kena stop by tp n he spot ur gpr pipe got weldin n he tinks u mod ur pipe...how????????...

hmmm...i advise u better buy extra fairing..original fairing keep..if u dont sand it 1st n u spray,ur finishing of the work not as nice compare u sand...btw for ur infor,u need 3 type of sand paper to perfect finishing of ur spray...rough sand paper is to scrap of ur laquer/color,medium rough to level the part of sanding n abit smooth sand paper(1002) to smoothen ur sanding...sowie if my explaination not tat clear..broken english ah....hope tis can help u..

ahh ok thanks for the tips...hmm i tried to DIY helmet before- sanding and all...prob is i wasted a lot of time and effort coz not sure of the 'gradient size' of the sand paper...like u said rough-med-smooth.. u got any numbers eg(1002 for smooth) to recommend respectively?? Hardware shop got lots of choice but not sure which ones to buy.

normal factory got...no nid to go bike shop....juz go to any industrial area...

yes of coz u need to sand.. if u wan i can recommend u some1.. workmanship ok since they just started but cheap and fast.. did mine in 3 days.. pm me 4 details
