hehe, actually i have not been riding regularly too... Been disapeared for almost 3 months and only starting riding again recently too... It's my only time now, cos i am not so tight-up with my work... If u are confirm going, let me know... Marcus have been "Jioing" me along for quite sometime too...

Wat's the point of posting that some "r1" crashed? To warn us of oil or remind us not to crash? Or you are showing concern for the injured riders?

Aiya, dun like tat say leh... We are the only small handful of Duke riders in PG nia, so must help each other out.... Cos PG is recently dominated by the Yamahas. Noooooo...

Well, it's not a nice thing to post or remind that somebody crashed in the tracks? Circle of bikers not very big, track riders even lesser....any hints about a crash in the tracks, someone, somehow would know and the result is, when the poor guy try to sell his ride next time, it will affect him. Many sportbikes riders in our humble land still prefered "non-crash sporty bikes with street tyres"

 

In PG, riders get into trouble anywhere, any turns....riders crash at T3, ok...we actually get no advantage when we hear that. It's like an extra burden, something to bother especially a new trackie the wrong info that T3 is crash prone and be more careful at T3? If no one crash at the rest of the turns, is it okay to go all out then? No....not true, cuz track conditions changes, and when the rider had an incident we also do not know exactly what happened. Mechanical fault or rider fault? Track slippery? So there's simply no advantages in posting that someone crashed in a track. Unless it's the rider who graciously mention it himself and share his experiences what happened to cause his misfortune, that could have been a ton more useful.

 

Yes, biker should help each other....ok, what did you do to help the riders who crashed? Stopping right at the exit of racing lines adding an additional hazard in the track or you return to the pits to inform Mr Syed/pitcrews? Anyone help to arrange tow or the rider back? Most riders would want to ride back, but sometimes, the bike is just not really that safe to be ridden back, and they are in a bad mood to listen to anyone. So they badly need escort all the way to bikeshop/home.

 

I'm negative, I'm soooo sad. Ya, I'm even the slowest rider in PG. But put yourself in the shoes of riders who crashed, the next thing you want is someone else posting about you crashing in the tracks. If a concern is to be shown, a PM would be nice. A real life example is recently someone crashed in a race...it was posted on SBF. Everyone start smsing/calling him to ask why. He's like "Damn, how come everyone knows?" I'm sure he do not need that attention except from close frens.

 

Yup, I'll definately give a helping hand should any riders need it, cuz I'm still a biker. Hope to see you in PG before I leave SG. My ride is a Ducati 748, one of the slowest Duc riders ever to appear in PG. My name is Hilary. The last thing I want, is to have one less fren before I leave SG. Peace.

Oh sorry, what you mean by going Solo? Going alone from home to PG or riding Solo in the tracks? I prefered to ride alone to PG unless the rider coming along dun ride too slow and I need not stop at the roadside to wait up cuz I sweat alot in my suit. But I'm not a "street racer" craving PG highways at 140kph, so I'm just worried about riders who go like 90kph, and I keep having to see where is he/she.

 

I rode along once in PG, thought I could just bump into someone at the track. But however, no one came and I start the session alone. Not a good feeling as I am all alone, I will hold back. That's why I'm slow. It's me. Thereafter, I will not ride alone as much as possible. It's proven I only improve with my frens riding with me, and they always tell me my mistakes when we pit in. Cheers to them....will miss them when I leave. Dunno trackies in states will be as nice or not.
