hmm..

basically, there are thousand of reasons when come to a question like

"why my bike cannot start"

exp like

due to: bike no petrol

ignition not on!

spark plug blow!

spark plug cable plug off!

piston cease!

jetting dunno wat happen run alway!

kekeke!

but...

lets narrow down to jetting problem only!

i believe lot of ppl come across hard to start bikes in the morning or like wat happen to our friend here.

2 stroke engine are very easily affected by weather, during night or after rain there are moisture in the air! and in the hot sunny day air so dry!

2 stroke engine can be affected by them easily.

so during night jetting = petrol lean

during sunny day time = petrol rich

so normally stock condition or motorshop do jetting for us they will do slightly bit rich!

so tat during night time when we drag our bike will not jam it..

so sometime when during hard to start our bike are also due to jetting problem!

give u guys a tips!

if u hard to start the bike in the morning when u got habits of turning off tank switch, try to switch it on at nite!

if ur habits is switch it on at night and u hard to start ur bike,

switch it off at night!

so sometime when we drop our bike..

petrol in the carb chork inside too much tats why i said u must not open trottle and switch off tank switch & kickstart to let the excess petrol out then can start!

push start is consider hard-call start.

so if push start also cannot start means somewhere else got problem..

open choke also cannot start.

To other riders, if u tried the above method and still can't start, u shd try to push-start. Get a friend to help you (or a good slope)

But if push-start aso cannot, then got something wrong inside. A month ago during the start of the rainy season, I came back from KL after 3 days and discovered it had been raining for the whole 3 days in SG. My poor bike couldn't start!

So I got a friend to drag my bike to the bike shop. Basically what we did, I "joint" up with him by putting my feet on his footrest as a "lock" and he just rode in gear 1 and dragged me & the bike all the way there. We did it late at night where there's little traffic and had our signal lights on.

I aso saw two Runners doing a similar method.. except instead of the working machine pulling the faulty one, it was the working machine that pushed the faulty one...

Or u can juz save the effort and use $20 to tow the bike. Ur choice! :thumb:

Not necessary u never warm up your bike... Sometimes its because of your 2t intake too much... Some say open 2t intake bigger can give u top speed but to me i see it as to prevent your piston from seizing/jamming when travelling @ high speeds...

Just my worthless opinion! :cheeky:

speaking of 2T...after how much mileage then u all go put in 2T and change engine oil ar?

2T no mileage one... Depends on how far you ride and the style u ride lo... If you wack always... Your bike drink 2t like water... If you slow & steady pom pi pi then should last u up to 3 weeks... 1 month max... Also depend on your 2t intake...

As for engine oil recommended change every 5000km... But for me i around 6500km or 7000km den change...

how to see when need to put 2T?.?

The 2T light will light up..The one that's at the bottom of your tachometer..It also lights up when you're in neutral..

It's advisable that you check your 2t tank every week or 2... If not another way is at your RPM meter there got one small circle red in color... Will light up if you put in Neutral gear... If you travelling and the lights come out... Time to buy 2t liao... But not advisable cos sometime you think never come out means still got 2t... Who knows the 2t indicator bulb already blow...

Better be safe then sorry wor!! Check every 1-2 weeks... :cheeky:
