hello guys. i need help. i was travelling from yishun back to khatib direction. i was travelling at 70+ and i was half way towards the first arrow then the traffic suddenly turn amber. i couldnt brake in time and on my mind is to accelerate faster. so i speed up and i look up on the overhead traffic. the interval from amber to red is quite long. about few seconds. i do not know if i am being captured by the red light cam. from my back facing the red light cams, i didnt see any flashes from behind. but i still worrying. please advise me, fellow sbf peeps!!

I visited Kok seng today and purchase a new original carburetor. my old carburetor was in a pityful state. that motherf#$%@#$^ker Ah boy mechanic made a hole on my carburetor!! Now my bike back in power!!!

 

dats da way bro...relax...let it be a learning lesson....everyone makes mistakes....slowly...like me slowly im redoing my bike...slowly but surely....

dats da thing...mayb he didnt dare to open full...my first experience wit old cbr6,i lost by 3 lampost....diz time round....i was travelling at 170km/h to 180km/h wit pillion...anyways...its da rider...not da bike right?sorry...but im not boasting....

u guys noe wat.....this story of ah boy jb now is a very hot topic....even my mechs in sg noes about it...n they even noe about who da riders r,even rekcams's fren....i got to noe dat most mechs at ah boy jb r amateurs....they were taught but they do it wrongly...if u guys want good results,kok seng motors or even pak din....his shop is higher up da road...express sign...sepang race twice his 2 krr150 took 1st place....but wat i noe pak din does charge higher,for quality wise...dat should be da way...cheers...

they will be open from 2.30pm onwards till 3 am,tuesday is their off day....full service rm80,not including ur parts dats need to be changed...

alright thanks bro. i go there around 630pm shouldn't be crowded right? and also do they have the kr original gasket there? cause my friend did full servicing at a shop there(forgot the name) and they gave him some cheap and thin gasket. reason saying they don't stock the original kr gasket there. so my friend advice me to get the original gasket from ah boy here then bring it over for them.

KR original gasket? Isn't that the one that comes with the bike? Once its changed durin servicin then its no longer original..Get me?

 

A gasket is a gasket..You do know that its possible to make your own gasket right? Its pretty simple..

 

Gaskets are cheap..Be it thin or thick..As long as it serves its purpose/function..There shouldn't be a prob would it?

 

The word ORIGINAL and ah boy doesn't really go well together..If you so want the ORIGINAL..Why not go to the agent instead?

Greetings Riders,

 

Between 25th Jun till 5th July 08, I had been sending my 3 months old bike to AH BOY Johor for cosmestic and engine tuning performance upgrade.

 

By the 5th July 2008, I am a very unsatisfied customer because my bike performance drop to the lowest standard after being powered set by AH BOY mechanic,only able to reach top speed of 160km/h instead of stock speed of 200km/h. Fuel was draining like water and the entire tank can be used up within a range of 100km distance.

 

The above problem was taking its toll on me and I had been visiting AH BOY Johor almost every nite to settle down on the power tuning but still they could not solved the issue. The mechanic even asked to me do perform PORTING of the block which I refused.They even tried to install a size 39T sprocket to enhance the bike performance but in vain cos I felt something dreadful was happening. Tired of their lame and non productive rectification of my bike power setting failure, I then send my bike to another bike shop at Ah Gua Lane Johor.

 

I was shocked to found out from the mechanic over at the other bike shop that my carburetor was using size .300 fuel jet and large size air jet with the carburetor main fuel hole punctured by drilling or knocking. This damaged the carburetor and caused both high fuel consumption and power loss. Also, the firing pin over at the coil rectifier was fixed wrongly and its pin was filed and damaged by the rotating coil. I saw my carburetor and all of the above damages,acknowledged it done by AH BOY Mechanic. I WILL NEVER AGAIN SEND MY BIKE FOR ANY REPAIR OR EVEN ACCESSORIES PURCHASE AT AH BOY JOHOR. NEVER!!! THEY KNOW NOTHING ABOUT BIKES. ONLY DESTROY AND DRAIN YOUR MONEY!!

 

Between 6th-8th July 08, I had sent my bike for proper tuned and solved all major problems. I wish to thanks these workshops for their professional help and care of my bike. Now my bike's performance is greater and all damaged items repaired or replaced.

Btw, I recommend that you all try to use Engine FLUSH by STP. It helps to clear carbon,slug,gum and tar built up in your internal gears and valves. Simply pour the entire bottle into your engine. Let it idle for 15 minutes and a bit of high revs. After that,Pour the entire engine oil out and refill with a fresh engine oil of your choice. For maximum protection, add STP engine oil treatment additives. I did that and my bike now superb!! Plus, the engine oil flush was unclogging all the dirty grimes!!

deep inside ,you have been sacrificed without knowing.all the fuel and problem can be solve without paying the unneccessary money for buying new carburetor,you should ask ahboy mec to do it until its done back for you.10 mechanic ,!!men.drilling or xxx won't spoil the carburetor until need to have a new change.you have been cheated!

stop being naive you should at the first place stick there, and ask the mechanic to solve this and that for you,but you went to the former ahboymechanic shop,of course ,you will be ask to change this and that.

all the storyline will be same, you go to next door no matter its ahboy johor or ah siew motor the rival will say the same thing to you..maybe not the same thing you got to change.

REMEMBER this is only feud between shop, nobody one to involve,why you?

by the way some new tips for the kr newbee here.

the correct way are , you should buy kr original gasket at ahboy sing.cos ahboy sing are the cheapest in sing town,do not doubt it.the same thing may be the same but the price will be vary in every shop.why not get the same thing at a more worthwhile price rather than paying twice the price,

but only some gasket need to be change some don't, unless its torn,it must be replace otherwise leaking will occur.the so called thin gasket is normal to change.care to share next time.

for those guy who would like to drop by ahboy ks at ah gua lane ,some tips for you,the place won't be too crowded between 7 pm to 11 pm.no matters its at ahboyjohor or ramesh or ah kiang or kok seng ,if u do have any problem with the existing mechanic who r handling your bike u should inform the person in charge at the shop , he may replace a mechanic for you or get solution ,do not panic.everything can be solve.just clear in mind,be fresh.
