A gasket is a gasket..You do know that its possible to make your own gasket right? Its pretty simple..

 

Gaskets are cheap..Be it thin or thick..As long as it serves its purpose/function..There shouldn't be a prob would it?

 

The word ORIGINAL and ah boy doesn't really go well together..If you so want the ORIGINAL..Why not go to the agent instead?

the correct way are , you should buy kr original gasket at ahboy sing.cos ahboy sing are the cheapest in sing town,do not doubt it.the same thing may be the same but the price will be vary in every shop.why not get the same thing at a more worthwhile price rather than paying twice the price,

but only some gasket need to be change some don't, unless its torn,it must be replace otherwise leaking will occur.the so called thin gasket is normal to change.care to share next time.

but as i know only kok seng mechanic online till noon.they r so addict to it.

so my say is end ,there is no true at all.

when i read about the gasket issue, i already knew it,u all have no knowledge at al.a cut of gasket is not as good as a original one.

in johor i know three musketeer:! i am regular of:

 

ah boy johor--my mechanic--of course ah boy

kok seng --my mechanic--of course panjang

jin fong--my mechanic--of course ah beng

 

my kr from stock to now only touch by them.

so i know their story very well.

i get good price from them too.

i will only visit them on weekend,

but sunday abj close i will go to panjang or beng instead.

but remember for kok seng customer, your bike can only touch by panjang and ah hao .the rest u will be doom!you might shed your tears be the last to go back.nowadays more customer let hao to do for them,not panjang anymore.but i still .

for ahboy i always let ahboy to do for me or ah seng,or the two indian guys,

but at ah beng i will only let beng to do it .

hi bros, i just got my krr so new to the family here!

being a newbie, i got a few questions and i hope that you guys can help me.

 

i have problems starting my bike when cold even on choke.. never fail to kick 123912471247 times before a lucky strike.... never once am i able to one kick one start.. could it be the kickstarter problem as i realise i need to sort of wind it up first by kicking it a few times before switching on the ignition and kick it... i also try to push start.. how i do it is i kick up to gear 2, clutch in and push the bike to the max speed i can, then throw clutch and open throttle... however, i can never start the bike.. the bike will purr meekly, and even if i open throttle, it would not rev, but sorta like going to die off, throttle full also no use.. when i clutch in or stop, the bike will auto die off.. is there a underlying problem as isnt push start a sure work method?

 

i would also like to know what is the fuel switch for(the one with on off reserve) and what will happen if i leave it in one mode?

lastly, i would like to know where can i get some cosmetic repairs done, eg. side lighting, windscreen, paint work touch up... planet does it?

Did you open the choke when starting up your bike? It is there for a reason you know.

bro so isit the choke you push down, it will stuck there until you push it up or when you push it down once, it will auto spring up? hmmm btw when i say down means the choke lever moves downwards towards the ground..

I'm sorry to disappoint you..But you have to be patient and wait for our KR Guru ngryan to reply/answer your questions..As most of us have no knowledge whatsoever..
