yes bro it is most probably due to dirt or dust..hence the squeaky2 sound..sumtyms will hav,nex day may disappear one..wen it rain or wad,try intermittent braking or wad la..dunno if it'll help but..nth to lose:)

guys,nid ur thoughts n feelings..gna get a new set of tires tmr..going for dunlop tt900gp (frm jap) one..

just nw called republic motors(not poly),dey dun hav the size 120 for my rear,but dey say 110 better.dunno if dey just wna push the sale or wad.

if i not wrong,120 is better for cornering?but dey say 110 better,cos 120 too "high"?nid ur opinions!cos just a difference of 10,the costs differ alot !

so..in terms of size,

1)wads our stock set size?

2)i nid stability,wads the size?

from what i know, our stock set is 90/90 front and 110/70 back. i have quite a few friends using size 120 for the back tyre. so far they've had no problems with it, quite stable but as as fr as i know if you want to use 120, you will be using tyres that are meant to be the front tyre for big bikes. correct me if i'm wrong.

 

if you really want stability go and change your swingarm then use 150 for the back uh. ahahaha. kidding

i oso using rear 120.. i feel behind quite heavy.. but so far so good ba..

front.. i dun rmb wat size eh.

Sorry to interrupt... But i jus wanna voice out my opinions if u dun mind.. If u're really into cornering, my suggestions... 1st choice: Front

Bridgestone battlax BT39 size 80/90, Back Bridgestone Battlax BT090 size 120/70.

 

2nd choice: Front Bridgestone battlax BT39 size 80/90, Back Bridgestone Battlax BT39 size 110/70.

 

Dunlop TT900 tyres are relatively for endurance rather than cornering.. Even jb mechanic's promote Battlax tyres compared to their own Dunlop TT and surprisingly, they are using Battlax tyres on their cub's.

 

If u notice many spoke rims on KR uses Dunlop TT, reason cos its cheap and tentatively the best they can find in JB for 'sotong tyres'. Not only my opinion but its practically true. All the best to u!

haha i am using 120 rear now..but i wna noe the thory which is better..cos i heard many2 contradicting theories!

tho i tink best is stick to stock size..to ensure even wear on the tire?i dunno man..just wna noe if 120 provides better stability..n tmr if go contact me k
