The mistake you made is goin to a shop specializin more in big bikes rather than our tiny litle bikes..No offence to anyone or any shop..But what I noticed is that when you enter a shop with a tiny bike they will try to chop you as much as they can..Change this or that or this spoil and that spoil..But it differs when you're ridin a bigger bike..Go and look around..Try shops you've never been to and observe..

 

Bleedin of brakes is around that price..It depends on if they do it manually or usin a pump..Tightenin of chain is free..Tho I've been to a shop that tried to charge me 2 dollars to tighten chain and when the mech was about to get to work told me my chain is spoilt..

 

You'd be surprised how fast vespas can go..If you can take corners with a Vespa steadily..You won't have any trouble takin corners with other bikes..

 

Wow really? But ain't their top speed relatively low? Definitely i'll try it someday, i'll get a vespa as a ride

the aprilia i find it too big..but i cant convince my dad on getting a kr.

so the only choice is i must find a 1st hand kr.

hi to all

i am a newbie here riding a KR i need some help from you friends i need a reliable and honest service shop to do my bike service any recommendations,whenever i try to enter any bike shop they try to thin my wallet,yesterday i went to bikewerks at bukit timah want to service my brake piston and calipers they die die want to change the whole pump instead of open and service the piston not even see the pistons they decided its spoil cannot use ready(may be because i am having the P Triangle in my bike or may be an Indian i convert my license so they don't know i got a 6 years more experience in riding)

 

one more shop near taman jurong decided the brake plate the hydraulic pump has spoil i need to change

 

the real thing is my brake is become soft and spongy i need to step harder on it to stop above 60 KM speed

 

pls give me any recommendations for bike servicing and repairing shops as you feel reasonable and honest-i am at west side

oh. and by the way arsenal2006. if you really wanna buy a 1st hand krr, go to sin boon motors. its in between sembawang and admiralty. and yeah, i agree with muhammad123. dont look at aprilias as if they are makes superior to us. yeah, they have legal arrow full systems, superb braking systems, and ultimate stability. but whats the use if you cant utilize it. i've seen kr's been aprilias and vice versa many times.

 

in the end, botak is temporary, handsome is forever. its the rider in control that matters. HAHAHAHA. but seriously

I always wanted to have a first hand krr, but i thought abit, whats the point?

Unless you are going to use it for a very very long time.. and i bet after maybe 2 years you will be itchy and want to change to a biggeer big, so just buy a second hand one. save cost use the money to do your bike. hehe

And if you are going to buy a aprilla, tell me we race =)
