FYI the clutch and throttle is design to work hand in hand ( one in one out )

irregardless of any rpm or gear u in the key is to flip the gear fast and smooth like

breathing almost simultaneously gauge by lookin at the rpm without droppin

more than 1k

rough engine sound appears when u tarik the bike but change gear too slow which

the engine brake comes into picture

and no u not suppose to clutch in when throttle's open :nono: ( clutch plates will

fried in no time )

Wah 1 person say east, another say west..

A3roSmith: you should have clutched in fully before you close throttle liao... shouldnt have this problem

So you're saying I should work on my kicking of the gear instead of the clutch and throttle? :? :giddy:

Clutched in FULLY BEFORE CLOSE THROTTLE? First time i heard someone who wants to do that.

Why don;t u just do a small test?

Put yr bike on gear one. throttle first but don't release yr clutch, what do u get? Loud sound dragging on and on in yr engine. same thing applies If u'r moving, u clutch in first then close throttle to change gear? That's the worst thing u could do to yr bike while travelling.

Grips I recommend Playlife...doesn't slip

Signal Light can get from LAB...get flush mounted ones for SP...

Pillion seat...just take it to rewrap and ask them to add the words...different shop will have different words....some Kawasaki Racing Technology, some Kawasaki Racing Development...etc

Those are POP racing rearsets...I got from HKL to the tune of $220...but I heard elsewhere selling around $190...can't be sure..

Balancer and chainguard get from LAB as well...this kinda thing no need brand one

ok my friend lets go back to fundamentals

when u clutch in while throttle is open = rpm goes up bike rollin on momentum (

sounds louder right?? )

i dont know about u but for me once moved off from stationary i placed the middle of my feet on footrest with toe underneath the pedal

anytime i close the throttle, clutch in toe reacts by flippin gear up once done crack open the throttle

while changing gears swiftly the rpm is gonna drop abit but not more than 1k thats when u know the tactic been mastered

clutch and toe as a group workin together with throttle the other half ( whether sprintin or divin into corners they are required )

in case u need to drop gear just swing toe on top of gear and tap on it with clutch in throttle already closed all done in one action

practise make perfect learn the basic or suffer later when ridin bigger rides which is less forgiving ( gonna jerk allover the shop when handled inappropriately )

ps: find a quiet spot and brush up on it

good luck and safe riding :thumb:

That's what I've always been doing.. Close throttle first then clutch in, should be my flipping of the gear not in sync with my clutching in.. Will experiment tomorrow..

R3sistor: Wah.. Relac ar bro.. I just tried one time clutching in first before fully closing the throttle see the sound will go away or not.. :giddy: Thanks for thr input tho.. :thumb:
