just by the side... someone told me tt thailand has stopped producing 2 stroke bikes since 2002.... now all 4 stroke liao.

so the "new" KRRs here, including mine, were all produced before then (ie old stock), just that they havent been registered yet by the dealers and have never been ridden (doh), thus the FY/FZ plate...

eh guys... just want to ask, anyone else having trouble with crosswinds lately? i'm finding that the krr seems to b just too light during this rainy season. if a crosswind catches me at anything above 110, the effect is bad enough for me to have to fight to regain control. so i've been going very slowly since. never experienced this before the bad weather came.

2nd link bridge is even worse... there was an incident, i remember one day after the tsunami hit, where the winds were so bad it would have blown the entire bike to the next lane if i hadn't been careful.

i'm just wondering is it just me or if the winds are really tt crazy. pls comment...

yes kips is 2 stroke. yes i always thought krr is still in production also. wat i meant is someone told me the "new" or first hand krr u see in shops are all produced before 2002.... just tt the dealers never bring in the stock. so they have been supposedly sitting in thailand for 2+ years until they come to singapore.

dont know how true it is, just something i heard so dont flame me. from someone i believe is reliable though. up to you if anyone wants to believe, i dont think it really affects us anyway....

the winds nowadays quite aggressive

muz be careful whenever reach certain parts of E-way especially flyovers or places where there's big open space beside the E-way

there's this stretch of TPE nearby sengkang exit...most of the time i will kena the wind when i pass by :giddy:
