guys need your help.im gonna get a 2nd hand kr soon.but i dunno how to test the bike.any kind soul out there willing to assist me?the best if you can follow me ah.if cant then at least tell me some stuffs to look out for when testing.thanks alot

check

bike alignment

(handle bar, wheels, etc got form a straight line or not)

- often requires u to ride the bike to have a feel of it yrself

condition of front fork

(any stains or signs of leakages on the chrome part of the fork)

- juz squat in front of the bike to see

electrical faults

(all bulbs that r supposed to work are working and check if the bike have taillight on when headlight is on, brakelight functioning etc)

- ask the fella show u all the lighting + when ignition key on and bike engine not running test the horn see whether it's weak or strong, if weak then it may signify a weak battery)

condition of wear and tear parts

(chain + sprocket + tyres **gd area to ask for price decrease when other areas of the bike r good)

- poor or very dirty condition = owner more busy w/ other stuff than to maintain his bike

cosmetics

(see if any deep scratches etc on various parts of the bike, engine cover, frame, fueltank, fairings all secured tight etc)

- can be compromised if u have the money to fix up...

check for sounds

(unnecessary sounds from engine area and the exhaust...see if modified etc...individual preference)

- unwanted engine knocking = bad sign and modified exhaust = fines if kena caught

any more bros wan to add on?

3.8k is bike price only or OTR? from pte seller or bikeshop?

altho mine is fw oso...of cos i will wana tell u say 3.8k gd..cos nxt time i can sell at high price oso...but....hahahaha

seriously i assume its 3.8k bike price from pte seller

n whueva d seller..im nt tryin to sabo la

3.8k way too high. if its stock bike..

perhaps d bike mod wif alot of tings den i duno la..

mebbe he recently change to new set of bt tyres or wat

change hel brake hose, sprocket n chain or wat...etc etc he may tell u he change alot of tings datsy d price higher...u urself check carefully 1st loh..best is he got receipt to prove la

but my opinion is..no matter wat changes he did 3.8k its abit too steep la

u can buy FW stock bike like at least $500-$800 cheaper in d market..den use this xtra cash to change wateva parts u wan

den if its 3.8K OTR from bike shop,im nt sure d prices now.but seems ok la

hey guys, i'm a new KRR rider here with an FS plate. recently, my brakes seem to have a little bit of prob. bike doesn't slow down when rear brake is depressed. bike doesn't slow down when front brake is pressed gradually but brakes immediately when squeezed too hard.

any idea wat's wrong?? brake fluid is still 3/4 full.

Feb '05 - Nov '06 ---> KRR150RR (FS7177Z)

Nov '06 - Feb '07 ---> CBR400RRR (FM3727C)

Mar '07 - Nov '14 ---> CB400SI (FT1733K)

Nov '14 - Now ---> NC750X (F******K)

Your stock rubber brake hoses are expanding at a non-linear rate hence giving you inconsistant & "wooden" braking. Replace them with HEL hoses. Confirm no regrets!
