BTW CK... the motul use very fast leh.. not like esso dunno why.. i didnt change the 2t intake screw... but now everytime i start bike alot of smoke, very malu and always must on choke den can start is the weather too cold nowadays? or issit because i on choke dats why starting alot of white smoke?

use very fast??? mine ok leix... then u use back esso gold lor... own preference baz...

cant say which one better lahz... for me... i go to hou heng at jb ah gua lane... own preference once again... they charge rm45 for servicing... parts changed calculate separately...

i haf clarifed with ah liang about my bike always valve jam.. he tested it and the same symptoms happened and he said it is not valve jam.. it is the piston ring lose due to hear expansion.. so CK urs is confirm valve jam or isit same as mine?

 

ah liang said valve jam u will hear clicking sound one..

 

so my bike is not dat lousy after all, valve haven spoil, but still lousier den ah peh bike for sure.!!

anyway quality of kawa piston and block compare to honda i wld say honda wld b better but a lot more EXP la...

1) "Opening" the valve regularly.... also means using the valve more often. In stock settings, your valve should open between 7k to 8k rpm (Can someone provide an accurate figure here?) In a 2 stroker, due to the design of the cylinder, carbon accumulation will happen and if your valve is not activated regularly, the carbon deposits will continue to accumulate till one fine day, when it is settled enough to "stick" or jam your valve.

 

2) Decarbonising is always done manually. If you're adventurous enough, buy the appropriate gaskets, drain your coolants, use a new brush and a container filled with petrol and clean out the dismantled cylinder. It's actually quite easy.

Just a suspicion... the ports in the KRR & the Super KIPS might be different. Maybe after you buy the KRR block you would be able to advise us?

Smoke is a concern to me as I have been booked by NEA recently for being too smoky. I have checked my plug and it should be fine on 2T which leads me to suspect that I have a internally leaking gasket or worse...

 

Any other premium Motul user here to comment?

i using Motul 510 from the day i get my bike till now... ok leix... no such problem... only when start bike got alot of smoke... other that ok leix...
