hi guys, got my spec3 recently but don't know why it seems higher and much diffferent from the one we were riding in SSDC. most importantly.. my engine seems to become hot easily.. to the extent that it seems that if my leg touches the engine i'll get burned. is it normal ??? sorry for posing such a noob question..:cheeky:

suggest you go to your trusted bike shop to check on the heat problem.. before more damage cause by it.. also check if your fan is working and flow of your radiator

SSDC not spec 3 rite? And we wun bother even if their engine get too hot =X.

 

I got my leg burnt from my new ride several time already, got scar somemore.

I was not used to the heat initially but time will solve this problem. Other wise wear jeans lor. =D

 

Anw, Driving.C prohabit right leg touches the gnd, thats y never tio burnt during that period?haha..

 

For me, jst apply the safty rules taught and adapt personal ride.:cheeky:

remedy - ride for a few more weeks and the problem.

rootcause - u are not used to the heat.

somemore in SSDC u always have to wear jeans.

but now u are wearing causal in public... eg; 3/4 pants...?

tats y ur skin feels the heat faster and direct compared to ur jeans...

 

as for the height problemo, maybe you can try adjusting the rear suspensions.

 

i need an info from you, u got a brand new spec 3 or 2nd hand?

i'll be home in AMK. if u need help to adjust the rear suspensions, feel free to contact me at my mobile. :)

or u can check but see the tension n the marking of the chain near the rear spocket area

Heat is normal...few weeks will not be soo hot cos u used to it oredy..

 

Enjoy ur ride.. Ur mileage quite high ah.. my FY spec 3 oso not that high. Maybe previous owner go Thailand many times..hehhe

yah lor.. i even think previous owner maybe everyday go KL and come back SG -.-3 yrs bike milage so high.. but maybe they know the milage i clock not so high so sell me to balance it :cheeky:

get it? ride ur "new" bike often and feel the bike overall performance and handling for at least 3 months before u do any changes... :dot:

more questions ! :p anyone know where to get belly pan in yellow ? went ah boy they say no stock :cry: also where to get voltmeter ? i will like to buy those round type one. looks better at the top between speedo and tach meter :p any wiring specialist ?!?! need to install my alarm too !

mine spec III 15k plus mileage.....

May 2005 - July 2007: Honda Phantom TA200 (FU 3*** S)

July 2007 - Dec 2016: Honda CB400 Spec III (FBB 7***X)

Dec 2016 - Aug 2017: Yamaha FZ1N (FBD 4***E)

Aug 2017 - Present: Kawasaki Z1000SX (FBF 6***B)

If you are a frequent tourer on like to "balik Kampung" person,then minmum milage if 30K km per year is nothing.
