other than the head fairing think u need to get the bracket and headlights...not sure if meters need to change also...think it will cost a bomb....

Can Ver S fit on the head section?

the meters assy for bolder is together with the head faring...

verion s meter assy and all other cb400 meter assy is together with the bike at the handle area... cannot install...

 

unless, you go for some mods... :smile:

hi guys... have something to share...

was going home from Woodlands yesterday and halfway at woodlands avenue 12, my bike stalled... totally no lights and time displayed at the meters assy... tried checking the fuses but all ok... then suddenly can start again... then proceeded my journey back... upon reaching upper thomson road, bike stall again... somemore raining... i was like wtf...luckily my remote start was able to start the bike... then until jus now, i took my tools to my void deck and started the investigation...

 

initially i was thinking its the ignition key problem, so i removed my windshield and headlamp assy, check through all the cables but no wired sightings... then i proceeded to the fuse area... gave a few taps over the fuse area and PRESTO! the bike shows time and lights... suspecting its contact problem, i opened the 30 amp fuse and checked... the fuse is good but lots of oxidation on the connectors... (see attached pics...)

my next action was to use contact cleaner, generously sprayed at the connectors and cleaned them with cotton buds... also used a small screw driver to bent the contact pins in the connector so as to have better contact... then plug back everything and case closed...

i personally think i have to share this especially for those newbies who bought old bikes and unluckily encounter this problem...

im looking for a few ppl interested to get the rear hugger or tank bra so i can get MO from motor world..went there yesterday then they told mi get at least 5 they give mi diff price..so any 1 interested??:smile:
