R6 tail light for super 4

bro, heard one of our forumers change r6 tail light? i tot wanna change also but want to see the outlook first.. care to discuss and put some pics if possible..

izit the one motoworld is selling?? im using that on currently.. $150 ... l.e.d lights... when u signal, half of the taillight will switch to signal light (half yellow blinking half red)

 

if u never depress the tailight, it will be transparent and not red....

i think should be nothing wrong.. because my fren also change to spec 3 tail and when TP stop him, never kena saman..

Nothing wrong,dont be too confident bro. In LTA context,anything not original,then can ask funds from you. If the LTA officers are super on and knows about bike well i guess most of us have donated to their funds already.

does it shaped lyk r6's diamond-like tail light? i've seen such signal integrated tail light b4, but it looks more like spec 1/2 light to me

I tink this is the one which bro dEeLdo mentioned, maybe is same as mine too. :cheeky: Understanding fm Kenji (Motoworld), this is new model spec III tail light, when i moduled the tails there. Juz share to you guy.

 

I do see the R6 one at Motoworld webpage, the material oso like transparent but there is the R6 model maybe has the same integrated signals as S4 model. :dot:

I din all my renewal from there and able to get some discount lah. They quote me $450 (included labour) for the transparent n integrated signal as per the pics above. If you want the normal spec III taillight will be $400, $50 dollar diff. If u want more cheaper agn. buy item urself such as tail board, tail light, mudguard etc, they will charge u for labour cost only. i'm not sure how much, some bro do mentioned they do this way.

only the sides of the frame need to be shaved off, but it wont affect performance wadsoever becoz it only weighs about 1-2kg, from wad i rem on my spec 1.

no cutting of the frame or watsoever.. just replacing the old taillight wif this one...

 

i did asked the motoworld mech if its legal but he says its illegal...reason being - when u depress ur signals, half of the tailight switches to blinking yellow lights

 

so picture this .. half yellow light blinking, half of it is red...

 

so ur choice guys.. i had mine installed oredi.. cheers...

Let say your bike is specI, market price shld be 3.5k to 4k, u change the specIII tail is only spend for $450. Do you able to sell your bike n get a specIII with $450?? haha... My qn is do u tink any diff btw specI vs specIII? tails lor, COE longer lor, wat else huh?

 

After u change it will price drop?? funny leh... whether u change or din change the price definitely will still drop year to year de mah. :dot: I do feel that u r more easily to sell it.

 

In my opinion is domestic bah, you spent a small amt n have the same outlook for the new model (specIII).
