As for me, I passed prac 7 today. Tmr prac 8 at 1625 - 1805 timeslot. Any one taking also? Oh btw.. and tips? heh. The instructor advised us to book road revision but is it necessary because today I prac 7 and tmr prac 8, so the test route still quite fresh in my head

Call insurance companies to quote; free and easy. Different people, different bikes, different quotation.

HAHA, Thank you everybody. Yah, i still kinda not familiar with the road traffic. Hopefully i don't buang by car! Anw, i'm not angmoh lah, haha. But im a foreigner ! It was like, stunted, when i saw my freaking name on #1. A 19Years old guy only! ROFL. Then everything outside i got to solo, cause #2 got kinda delay.

 

Just came back from viewing three sp. Anw, i called the NTUC just now. The quotation for 18+ or after you pass 19 also same amount . So no pt ya! HAHAHA.

 

Hopefully i can master the defensive & siam-ing car buang skill outside.

Just now while i was pillion by my fren on his cbr, i realised bikers always like to like race with you like that. Isit true? ( Except those guailan one on throttle stare at you, those cfm want tio problem).

r125 ??with a machine price of nearly 8k

unless u really like the bike and have money to throw .. or u gonig to ride it like 5 years ??

anyway sports bike will be a little more expensive but since u 25 already in another age category ..

so should be slighlty cheaper.

phantom also not cheap now, i last heard about $500 to $700 for 19 yrs old phantom (rider jus got the license)

Went for prac 8 today thinking that I will fail because it has been some time (about 2 weeks) since I last did my circuit. Anyway I just tried my best and surprisingly manage to do everything smoothly. As for OTR (On The Road), I was very familiar because yesterday was my prac 7.

 

When the instructor gave us the test sheet, I had 10 points and 1 IMMEDIATE FAILURE.. so did the other 2 pple who took prac 8. The instructor explained that we all never see the pedestrian STARTING TO CROSS THE ROAD while we doing left turn.

 

Wah damn sian. I could have passed prac 8 in just 1 try. Very pissed and sian. How can it be that 3 people never see the pedestrian??

 

Haiz. Better luck next tues (my next prac 8)

hm..for the pedestrian crossing..

that one have to Really Really make sure that there's no one crossing.

 

during my tp, suddenly got this pedestrian anyhow walked on the pedestrian crossing though its already the red man.

i horned but barely got any sound. all thanks to "can't choose bike during tp".

ah.. tmr prac 5 again .. dun have much confidence man .. slalom too slow .. moving off/stop incorrect posture .. wobble when moving off .. fail to change to appropriate gear before turning /stop ... in correct positioning .. ( i dun remember going to the wrong lane ah... ) fail to check blind spot .. fail to look out for traffic on lane and junction .. ( what do they want when they say this , issit must show obvious obvious that im looking at the traffic.. ?) 24 points .. arghh

HAHA . same . my tp i jambrake to stop for predes during the left turn outside. later i saw . if not chiong pass sure immed fail me.

 

But , its also the TP fault lo. i check light, blind spot , then i move off. Out of sudden, the TP chiong to look at me(Cause i first person to pass his station and yet he was observing the opp direction), and his kanchiong pattern was damn funnnny, machiam a kid open the eyes BIG BIG stare at me . END UP DISTRACTED ME ALMOST LAUGHED . Thus, i didnt go observe the far far man running toward the road

wanna ask issit when stop.. must hold on to front brake and step on back brake issit ? ... den what do they mean fail to change to appropriate gear before turning ? .. and check blind spot .. issit must show that very obviously that i am checking ? ..

as long as ur journey is smooth, they wont able to catch u which gear u using, but high chance if u use wrong gear, and bike not smooth when turning etc, then they may deduct ur point (anyway, it's very minor. dun worry)

 

blind spots wise, there are few places, they will tell u MUST check blind spot, so u DIE DIE must SWING ur HEAD to show u are checking.. lolx..

But haiz, I think I won't do any Circuit Revision or Road Revision for my prac 8 on Tuesday. Don't see the point. Can means can, cannot means cannot.

I'm also like you. Only took 3 CRs in my entire 2B journey; where 2 are taken prior to TP. On the other hand, it's useful to have the extra practice.

No point going through so fast. Just keep below the timing, can already. Faster means higher tendency for mistakes; strike cones, fall down and etc.

Advent bro! i think the wrong gear before turning, is at slope! you never change to gear2 upon reaching slope. I kana too before. (: and, the cone that part, i telll you smth, you just look down, FOLLOW the white trace left down by the tear and wear of the bikers. Cause that is the road that ppl always go thru so its kinda useful to follow. So you will know when to turn, when to throttle. (: dont understand ask me again.
