Would be a better story if he had rode up next to a TP and flip him the finger and raced off and got caught and now come here asking what is the penalty for doing that.

This happened to my friend before but was a diff case.

 

Caught by TP....

 

he was riding his dad`s bike and was pilloning as well.

tp rode beside him and pulled him over. asking for his license he said he had(which he lied) and the tp check with hq and found that it wasnt true. he then asked whos the owner of the bike and asked him to come down. So his dad came down and accepted that it was his bike. The tp told my friend to be expecting a letter soon.

 

2 months onwards the tp sent a letter to report for a investigation. In the investigation the father told the tp that he allowed his son to ride as he was sick.

 

5 months after that a court SUMMON was pasted at my friens place. and he went to court pleading for leniency as he wanted to help his dad.

in all he got fined $1.5k and disqualify of all classes for 12months.~

 

but i believe yours is much worst.

That may be true; there's been quite a few threads like this lately but I guess we'll have to give him the benefit of doubt...

just now i was riding along orchard road at lane one. the other lane was jammed(i not sure due to wad) and suddenly a taxi just turned out in front of me and it was so near that i e brake immediately and my pillion was f***king me hard behind my a55. in he end i lan lan let him pass cos he taxi wad. wad to do? gotta pity em tht they have to make a living too. to them time is money. luckily i wasn't riding fast.

received a letter regarding non user bike and was asked to be interviewed at lta building at 24th oct by senior investigating officer... siao liao... was riding without license and bike was laid up and of cos no insurance... the letter said i was riding non user vehicle passing thru erp gantry at this day that day... actually wanna get license alr then do everything... tp on 29th oct... sigh... may i know what's gonna happen and wad shld i do? am i gonna get 3 charges or 3 x (no. of times i rode)? is there any leniency if i'm still schooling and tp date is near? or can i beg the investigating officer to let me off or just charge me riding without road tax?

The story is believable. Here's an earlier story from some years ago.

 

This Guy A, is still taking class 2B lessons and bought a yamaha sports bike and laid it up.

 

This Guy B, which A knows from this very forum, approaches Guy A and tells Guy A his bike needs servicing and he is very willing to help.

 

Guy A trusted Guy B, gave Guy B the keys and didnt really checked out about it.

 

Guy B towed the bike to a bike shop and subsequently collected the bike.

 

Guy B then tells Guy A that the bike is best at his home carpark because he knows bikes and can warm up the bike regularly for Guy A.

 

Few months later, LTA called Guy A to explain how come that the laid up bike is ridden thru ERP and not paying ERPs.

 

Guy A panicked and called Guy B. Guy B tells Guy A to lie to the LTA investigator to say he loan the bike to Guy B's Friend known as Guy C.

 

Turns out, Guys A, B, C has no licence to ride. Guys B & C having their licence revoked but still riding Guy A bikes.

 

In the end, who suffers the most?

to make him feel good about the current predicament that he is in, it should be that he was lucky not to have knocked down any pedestrian whom might have lost his/her life or suffered permanent disability only to realise that they are unable to file any form of insurance claim from the aggressor because you do not possess a valid riding license & obviously no insurance coverage as well.

Not to mention, that any fellas riding illegally is never covered by any insurance.

 

In the event of rider's paralysis or death; the rider and his/her family has no claims to any insurance coverage, though some may be kind enough to provide a discounted payout.

 

In the event that it was someone else causing any accident. That someone else is also not required to pay out to the illegal rider & family.

 

In the event that a pillion was killed/injured during a accident. Pillion has no insurance coverage on this matter and will be required to sue the rider to compensate any insurance payout to the pillion or his/her family.
