haha! that bike has everything any stromtrooper would want!

 

after reading the other forum, im still undecided.. there're mixed reviews with some exp really bad vibrations and some not at all.. and apparently the newer version of the crashbars has reduced this by a great deal.. the other crash bars juz dun serve the purpose i feel and they're so much more expensive..

 

i mite juz try my luck wif the givi one cos i still like the look best!!

 

al-simmons: i realised there's a mounting kit for the motech's skidplate for the givi or HB crashbars..

just crash today man... ###### ! that taxi driver...

 

was going to motorworld after servicing my coolant.. then in the lane lead to motorworld.. that driver in front of me suddenly do a u-turn... then too late for me to react.. just bOOm... off i fell.. n bike onto me... shity sh*t..

 

left side lever broke, fairings scatched... vstrom words gone.. then front mud guard scratch.. then hand guard broke.. all these are minor

 

but then when bike started...super duper weird sound came out.. ######...

so tow to bike shop n let them handle everything cum the claiming stuffs....

 

 

once knock down.. i just tell the driver.. i'll claimed everything frm u.. no worries.. i'm fine.. me just a brusie on left knee.. but now whole body ###### ache. so going to see doc tmr..

Just wondering if anyone interested in "air-bag" riding jackets? Mesh ones are quite cheap at >$300 apparently. I took a look at kidney protectors/spine protectors and such at Motorworld and figured I was not gona pay $100(CHEAPEST!) for sme thin plastic spine protector with some bubbles in it! In the end I bought a DEUTER camel-pack n rode wth it to HatYai. I dunno lah, somehow I feel a thick and long camelpack backpack could cushion my fall much better than some thin plastic from motoworld. In end I was MOST comfortable rider coz' whn stuck in citiy under hot sun, all 3 other Strommers were "dying" in their TERMAL (AlpineStars) jackets but clever me was sipping cold water from my camel pack. I remember a certain Strom rider almost wanted to steal my camelpack during lunch even....heh heh
