something hit my head these days while i'm sick...

any1 keen on servicing their fuel pumps?... what i meant by servicing is to change the High-Pressure and Low-Pressure fuel filters.

i have spoken to clifford some time back, he qouted me $50 for his workmanship. but i got to find those filters. local dealers doesn't carry them and are not will to order it.

 

i just want to know how many of the riders are interested, before i re-engage the local dealers again.

Good initiative Tank3e. Just a point to note for 07 ABS Wee owners. The fuel filter is different from the pre 07 Wees. You might want to read up before your mech attempts the operation.

There should be 6-7 Wees here responding to this thread. Your TA400 is even more rare. Look around. Something will fit your budget and liking.

I was on the PIE when i saw from far a familiar bike.. turned out it was a Vee. To gain some ground with him, i had to drop 3 gears to gear 3 and throttle to ard 6.5-7K rpm, reaching my max power.

 

U can just imagine how fast he was on the PIE if i had to drop 3 gears just to be near him.. can't imagine if it was the NSH. I will probably smell some Vee's smoke.

 

Wonder if he is here in this forum.

Ohlins front springs are not progressive if I remember correctly. At least for DL650 when I checked the last time. Mtechnik has progressive ones. Think its Wilbers or Technoflex.

 

Last year's prices from Sporting is as follows:

Ohlins spring $188

Ohlins fork oil: $38

Labour: not quoted
