CTEK XS3600 free replacement - those who have the earlier CTEK XS3600 with the unstable mode switch problem - pls bring in your set for a free replacement. I am sorry for the problem - CTEK has rectify the issue. This free replacement is only for the older version of XS3600 - all other models does not have this problem. Pls email or call b4 you comeby ( sunking@pacific.net.sg / 93891138 ) - Kindly also help me - post this notice in other forums.... TYIA

So it's true. No wonder my XS3600 isn't working. I tried it with both flat and half charged batteries this year. The results the same. Switch not working. Problem, I'm in HK. I won't be back until late January for my reservist. I'm hoping I still have the receipt somewhere.......

Hi... mate

 

I will reserve 1 unit for you to exchange - no need receipt, if urgent pls send it back & I will foward the new unit to you in HK. Btw, the older version XS3600 is working, only problem is the mode selection switch is unstable, but it is working - we do have 2 units return here & they are working. Do remember to keep the battery charger on the half flat battery a little longer as even if the " Green" light is on itis only 80% full - so leave it there to trickle charge.

Guys, I got a way to allow any battery chargers to charge 2 batteries at the same time.

It is a pretty easy setup & if anyone who has the CTEK or Easy battery charger - I will do it for free. Jus bring in the booster clip harness & it should take about 5 mins to install.

CTEK has introduce a DC to DC battery charger - D250S but it is not really for BIKE to BIKE or CAR to CAR charging - It is really for battery bank (like those in a solar system set-up) to bikes, cars, camper van & a rear engine set-up.

No wonder my charger charging till cow come home also cannot full. When can i come for exchange, mr. limbat?

Welcome. I waited for Limbat to return to office since he knows my situation (see post #506). The staff knows that the Ctek XS3600 need to be exchanged. I found out when I reached there

The charger is well so far. I'm back in HK, so I can't have coffee until I return again. I'm not sure when I'll be back but I'll let you know again
