azman - it should be your battery.mine meter swing twice,1 week later bike cannot start at all.call tow truck.lesson learnt.

 

edit: if not use a mulitmeter to check the V of the battery.

just bought a spec 2 from a bike shop. I was just wondering, is it normal to have 2 keys? it seems like the ignition is 1 key, and the fuel tank & seat compartment is another key. both are not interchangeable.

 

im guessing that the fuel tank and seat lock are from another bike...

 

also, is the odometer/mileage gauge supposed to keep blinking? how do i get it to stop? i tried randomly pressing the both buttons, and it was clear for awhile, before resuming the blinking thing.

 

feel like ordering an entire instraument cluster from ebay, is 190 brand new reasonable? or are they available at LAB.

Most times when there are two keys it is because some people pried the handle bar lock. So they changed that. Not likely to be the seat and cover.

Does Spec 1 does the swing thingy when batt weak too?

Hey Guys, Need some help.Now Every morning my right side engine very noisy. normally start bike, 2 mins warm up the sound gone liao. Now 10 mins warmup also no use, need to ride for awhile then the sound gone. must be the clutch housing rite ? anything that i can do to minimise the noise ?

 

Zai,sounds like the clutch housing...maybe u can go down to motodiam and ask their opinion...if ur thinking of replacing the housing...might as well replace the clutch plate...but do ask them if they can do it without EO changeout....they just need to tilt the bike....if they say cannot then better find other bike shop..

btw, ask u all something.. at 100km/h, what rpm does your tacho read?

 

since its moi first time riding s4 at that speed.. i thought the rpm of over 6000 a little to high for my liking. it's noisy.. and above like 120km/h, i can feel the seat vibrate.

 

do you all think changing to a smaller rear sprocket will bring this rpm down? by how much?

My tacho reads at 6300 i tink.

 

Be remided tt if u change sprocket size, ur speedo wont be accurate as the sensor is configures tp stock sprox settings

koxie: i change my batt and fix my voltmeter yest. and when i start my bike, it still swing 2 times. do u encounter that? is it the batt havent charged fully?

Can anyone break down the price for me hehe thx. and also which shops got do such things =) thx in advance. not sure also can agar agar tell me
