hi guys i nid ur help..my spec3 speedo meter is goin crazy...it goes up n down..i tink its the speedo sensor located below the carb..am i rite?how much to chge it?n any recommend shops?

just to clarify another issue.

last night i start to hear a very soft tak sound somewhere from my carb or engine during iding.. still wondering what's that sound.. it comes in a interval of 20secs i guess.. on and off which is inconsisent.. but didnt affect the performance of my engine..

 

hope someone can manage to find a solution to it

 

idling wise..usually it comes from the clutch plate area....sometimes i also have it...actually its the clutch plate wearing off oready..thats what I heard

I see, thx for ur info:) nth major shlb ok okie ba.. Also I still very easily manage to get to my neutral from either gear 1 or 2 :DHaha sometimes my gf always say that I am just too over sensitive to my bike..lol..

So i brought the battery to a bike shopp to get it check but the battery is ok.he told me it might be the fuse so i bought the fuse and replace the fuse. all 5 red fuse and 1 green fuse is still ok but i still change it anyway. but my bike still could not start.this is the 2nd time it occur.the first time it occur i just change the green fuse as it was already broken. but this time round the fuse is stil ok. what is wrong?

It could be due to rectifer is dead. It happened to my Spec 2 recently as well.

Hey verna, thx for the solution. Turn out it was the plug connecting the power to the fuse holder. the plug corroded.haha

hey guys, in need of an advice. i find my front fork rather soft for my liking. so i went 2 shops and ask. 1st shop say service fork. 2nd shop say do not need to service fork because its not leaking and if i do service my fork it is still going to be the same. anyone can advice me? i find it too soft when i go hump or hard breaking my pillion will find it uncomfortable. pls help. thank you.

maybe u can look for ah fook at amk indutrial park 2 to help u with the issue.

He can actually helps to add on a pair of bearing to the top of ur fork to make it high a little bit and perhaps you can try installing the bracket to ur rear suspension which will higher the clearance of ur bike below and lesser chance of hitting the hump when going at faster speed, especially with pillion.

that's what i have did to my bike and i am please with it : ) will definitely appreciate it when crossing the humps at the custom! haha

Boon Siew or Yew Heng Group

I was surprised that Yew Heng has the coding device to duplicate but pleasantly found it convenient. Do note that I did mine at Changi Road HQ. Not sure if their branches have the facility, so call and ask.

hey guys, i would like to seek some comments from you.

 

had some minor surgery at X performance, the bike shop oppo ah gua lane that many riders patronise. here is the list of items changed:

 

1. front and rear brake discs (690ringgit)

2. 3 brake pads (cant remember)

3. 4 wheel bearings (38x4)

4. bosch air horn with relay (150)

5. brake and gear lever set

6. handle grip (35)

7. 2pairs of signal lights (80-90)

8. some gadgets to lift the absorber height (25)

9. brake fluid pump (75)

 

total damaged $680 sgd, is it consider cheap abt the same in sg or exp? im not sure the price offered in sg.

 

I suppose some of u guys patronise that shop so can you provide ur feedback abt the shop? are the things there cheap? the service? level of technical knowledge?

Xifu may have done things more expensive than the rest of the job...but I would say he gives a better quality and workmanship than other shop. Since my SP times, always been his customer. I tried other shop in ah gua lane also...but still go back to him in the end. If you say like those bearings and those external parts, its cheaper by abit compared to SG. Personally for EO, I still think Sg is cheaper.

bro, thanks for ur reply. quality wise i cant comment cuz it was his employee who perform on my bike. anyway i told him some problems of my bike, but think he forgot abt it, nv check anything.. not even top up my brake fluid when i told him.

(Q) Anyone help me to adjust the time on my cb400 revo, just change my battery. Then the time on the tacho back at 1:00pm and I was so stupid to change it back..

 

moreover, does anybody upgrade the rizoma handle bar on revo 400. Please help me with this. Does the bike have any vibration when speeding more than 120km/h. What type of handle bar fit cb400 revo. I do a research and find uot the rizoma MA005 might fit with 22mm (7/8). But its too expensive, so the other is tag metal x5 factory. But this one is 805 width. Is that too width.

Dear bros, my rpm and speedometer needles turn 2 times upon starting the engine. The 1st time is when i turn the ignition key to "on" and the second time is when i press the starter switch. Is it a sign of battery running flat? Signals and horn still working. Pls advise. Thanks.

by right... if ur needle run 2time better check ur battery level, how long u used ur battery??? get a voltmeter http://www.northerntool.com/images/product/images/163100_lg.jpg to check... if not very troublesome later if halfway no battery...
