Yr front caliper needs servicing already ... both sides and check the pads together and bleed the hoses too ... sound like caliper jam ...

Unable to release itself back to normal position...

Hope it helps ... :thumb:

Two questions.

Am i able to find stock(spec1) rear signal bulb from normal neighborhood hardware stores?

Will LED signal be able to pass inspections? Assuming the blinking frequency is regulated to normal rate.

Thanks! :)

Q: Any idea how much engine guard re-spray will cost? Mine is scratched after a fall.

And any recommended place to do it?

Thanks.

I guess any bike shop will do it at a minimal cost but depends on how`s your PR with them ...

But i really don`t suggest you to re-spray it anyway cos it will peel of after washing the bike with hi-jet spray or the paint will chip of eventually after riding it due to small pebbles or stone will hit it ...

I personally suggest to replace it cos after you drop the bike it might even crack at the welding part at the mounting or even rust will attack the welding area try to check it visiblity ...

If it really crack at the welded area then it will not be any protection for your bike ...

If not you can replace it with stainless steel ones customized type to suit your design ...

Hope it helps ... :thumb:

Q: Does the voltage on ur voltmeter go down when u rev? Not sure if the mechanic fixed it wrongly but the voltage is correct when not revving. Im riding on spec 3 btw.

It should go up cos by revving it is charging yr alternator then to yr battery ... Also don`t depend on the Voltmeter cos volt meter is not as accurate as it is i always check my voltage by using Multimeter more accurate ...

It also depends on where yr mechanic tap yr wiring it should be tap to yr ingition switch hardness...

Hope it helps ... :thumb:

Then the reading is showing the voltage of yr headlamp not the actual voltage of yr bike...

And you mention that the reading is going down is because that the headlamp is drawing more current when u rev it ...

So should tap at ignition?

Hmm.. Tap from fuse.

Dont rely too much on the voltmeter.

It is only useful to see if your bike is charging when you rev and not so much the actual voltage of your battery.

Information we can provide, but, choices are subjective. It's your decision to make.

But which is better for long term usage.

depends on the condition of the bike.

there is no spec that are 'fit for long term use'

Yamaha x1

Honda super 4 spec 1

Assuming ur voltmeter is accurate and proper..it means that there is no recharging and this can be due to a faulty coil or rectifier or just rectifier connector...all could be both coil & rectifier. Ur battery is getting weak too and might soon flat out due to no charging but actually still ok. Before u decide to spend $s, go get a proper test voltmeter multimeter to confirm.
