hey fellow s4 bros, i have a problem regarding resetting my mileage after every fuel refill. Pressed the button but it doesn't respond. mind sharing what could be the problem? thanks

are you at the "TRIP 1" or "TRIP 2" menu when u try to reset it?

Trip 2 menu bro.

are you able to switch to other menu? if you can it's probably something wrong with your circuit board. i would advise you to save your money instead of changing the circuit board as it doesn't affect your riding.

Hi all,

Need some advise here. There is some oil leaking around the coolant pump area. I can't seem to locate the source of the leak. It not the drain plug as I have touch it and there is no sign of oil around the area. I park my bike side stand so i suspect that the oil may have leak from somewhere and drip around the coolant area. Any idea where the leak may have originate? Thank you.

Hi,does anyone knows hw to check the rectifier after changing the batt?

Can just tap from the battery terminals with a multivolter and look for reading yhat varies from at least 13.5 to 14.2v dc from 2k - 5k rpm (increase slowly) provided ur magneto coil is ok.

Kayaba is ok..should cost around $500-$600. Just be sure the mounting holes and length of the suspension is with specification. If ur old absorber is a SHOWA...can have it rebuild for about $240-$300..it be as good as a brand new one or better.

A new magneto coil and a good rectifier would gives u 13.8v dc to 14.2v dc. For ur reading..it's ok but ur coil is considered "half live".

U don't check by crusing because the range is from 2-5k rpm which at one pint it gives the best reading. Use a multivolt meter (not those install on bikes)..tap ur battery terminal and slowly turn throttle from 2-5k rpm range and see what's ur maxs reading...if still 13.2v dc...life span about gone or coil about to be damage by using poor quality eo. Afraid u have to have them replaced if they gone bad..ur bike would start and battery won't charge..$300+ for a coil and $75-$85 for rectifier..depend on which spoiled.

Hello all,

My Son has just bought a 2008 CB SF Revo and as usual the first thing he wants to do is to make it louder. No problem as I am a fabricator and have already fabricated his Slip-on pipe but need to get it running right.

Could anyone of you advise on the part # for a PC3 and would anyone have a PC map that will get me started.

We have searched high and low for a part number but have not been successful.

The reason for the PC3 instead of PC5 is because I have the hand held programer for my other bikes so I do not want to out and buy another gadget.

Your help would be much appreciated.
