[Q] Hi guys, anyone know the value of the valve clearance/ tappet clearance?

Riding spec3

S4 do not have tappets thus there is not tappet clearance or valves clearance in ref with it. This has been replace with "Cam follower" and the vavle clearance is determine by the "shims" thickness.

Stupid Hurts!.:giddy:Speed doesn't kill, mistakes does :faint:

BEER!...it's cheaper than fuel now! DRINK!..DON'T RIDE!

Hi guys.

[Q] How do you change an Air Filter on a CB400 Super Four Hyper VTEC 1st Gen?

I already have the air filter and the guys from local bike store don't want to install the filter without buying one from them.

I sorta know where the filter is located but I don't know what to take apart and how. A dummy guide is needed.

Thanks

Ya, try not to open vtec so often, next check ur chain is it lose, and also ur tires whether the pressure is correct. All these small things may affect ur fuel consumption.

Apart all of the above, have you change your wheel bearings. I did what you did and my fc is about 330km per full tank on normal riding. VTEC2 is best known that its not the best fuel saver in its family but I'm happy with my ride. No problem on oil leaking, heating issues.

Normally i would try to turn the steering left right few times during stationary mode. If it feels heavy, tat maybe due to front tire air pressure low. For rear tire, i would sit on the bike during stationary mode n try to push forward. If i feel my bike is heavy to push, the rear tire may not has enuf pressure.

U can also buy the air pressure gauge if u wan more accurate judgement.
