if i`m not wrong.. fcr`s are all da same.. da difference btwn 1.. 2 n 3 is da technology.. fcr2 has sum of da probs dat da fcr1 is facing rectified.. n fcr3 has sum of da probs dat da fcr2 is facing rectified..

 

fer da drz.. fcr2 is sufficient.. da difference is da dimension.. 39mm is wat moz drz`s are usin.. da moz impt is to get da perfect jettin.. which is a real b!+ch.. but once u get to hit da spot.. fcr1/2/3 rockz..!

 

What about FCR-MX? Been surfing TT forum and that's all they talk about, nv seen dicussions on fcr 1, 2, or 3?

From my knowledge, there are only 2 kinds of FCR carbs, for all other kinds, it's just variations between these 2 main types:

 

The normal FCR with external fuel pump

The newer FCR-MX with internal fuel pump

 

Between the same kind of FCR, there are some variations, for instance; some come with hot start, choke, TPS..but all perform ard the same.

The new straight body FCR-MX as compared to the Slant-body FCR is regarded to be improved design with the accelerator pump inside the carb body.

If you're talking about the full race yoshimura system, it's very noticeable on the DRZ, flows much much better than the stock exhaust. Wider powerband and the can hit rev limiter very fast.

 

No comments on the street legal system because never used it before.

hmm.. quite grippy.. but not suitable fer high speed riding.. 130 n it da handlebars starts to shake.. like as though u`re fryin char kway teow.. lolx..! =X

 

my next change will be da alpha 10..

 

tried a frenz` bike wif da st-legal full-system yoshi tricone.. its definitely better den stock.. but loudness~.. so-so.. i tink delta will be a better choice.. as its cheaper.. below 1k da laz time i`ve checked.. n louder after removin da diffuser.. yoshi`z diffuser is very tedious n not easy to remove.. fear of damagin da 1.6k exhaust system will be very heart-wrenching..

btw.. answerin ur last post.. yes.. my tyres are also grippy durin wet conditions as its rain tyres..
