With the exception of the military which logistics demands for fuel commonality, why would anyone want a diesel bike ?

Adventure riders would.

 

Diesel engines are by nature much more reliable, more economical, produce more torque compared to petrol engines.

 

Also, the bike can run on vegetable oil if needed, without modifications.

 

Peak torque comes at 1800rpms, something cruiser riders would love.

Who will bring it in? I guess because diesel engine is not as smooth as petrol engine, thats why they design 3 cylinders instead of 2, to counter-balance the excessive vibrations associated with diesel engines?

interesting.. diesel is not much cheaper than petrol now..

the attractiveness of this machine is most probably the looks and the FC..

 

now you will have a lot of black smoke.. i wonder if this had a super restricted exhaust for it's engine..
