anyone here kind enuff to offer me free towing service from yio chu kang rd to either first motor or xtreme(which i doubt i wanna go to.. cos they dun 1 2 do my business back then when my clutch gave way).. btw not my bike breakdown or wat.. it's spoiled more than 6wks ago and the shop there cant seems to fixed up my problem.. went there jus now was ok then ride awhile n it's spoil again.. keep having this problem.

bro just call a tow truck and tow it to either xtreme or fm . . . they will only charge u after the repair have been done . . . btw its not xtreme don't want to do ur bike . . . they r very busy preparing a race back then . . . up to u if u want to try again or not . . . anyway u still have to wait earliest monday before anyone can really touch ur bike cos no bikeshop open until monday . . .

u r wrong.. they r free, and it's a raining day.. i suppose to go fix my fork change oil and etc.. den suay at tat day my clutch also gave way.. they dont even bother to see or touch or troubleshoot at least.. just simply ignore my bike there.. tat one i cant stand it liao.. i guess i NOT going back there no matter how good they r.. dey dun even wana help me solve my problem.. imagine a bike w/o clutch how u ride around.. u cannot stop.. stop already cant move off.. cos u cant release clutch to move.. shift gear gotta use cluthless upshift downshift oso..

 

nvm la i ride my way to FM i guess.. settle the bike sell it or scrap it n it's end of my rs life and i'm outta here =)

hi people, im noob so please help me out. the bike shop says there's a problem with my rectifier? and that it'll affect alot of other things. so my question is.

1) what does a rectifier do?

2) how much will a new one cost?

 

Because, they quoted my $180 for a second hand one and he said something about it being dual cable unlike the traditional single cable. I am abit skeptical about this whole thing so i need your advice. Thanks alot

A rectifier controls the voltage circulating your electricals.

 

A brand new rectifier costs $140. A second-hand one should be $20-40. But don't use 2nd-hand rectifiers because there's no telling when they'll burn out, or if they are on the blink already.

hello all. sorry to disturb, just wanna ask a question, mhmm serviced and cleaned my jammed valve i believe its ok now, but my rpm still cant hit 8 to make it open. any possiblities of any other problems that might occur?

 

if rpm cant hit 8 is not valve prob le ma ? correct me if im wrong . . mayb ur choke u accidently pull ?

my valve last time jam still can drag to 11k+ jus that the valve dosen't open..

so far i only encounter tis prob twice , once is when i 10 days nvr ride , the rpm cannot drag after 8 . . but after 20 min of 8rpm @ every gear then it went back to normal . . the other situation is when i left the choke lever on when i ride . .

u might be running too rich . . . check ur sparkplug color . . . it should be very dark brown(rich) . . . if not it could be other problem . . .
