i dun quite understand the words describe the "WILL NOT FIT THE 2007 > EURO 3 PIAGGIO CDI"

wanted to get the 34mm carb. but inlet manifold not available till mid sept.

It will not fit you. I was hunting for one when i did my derestriction last year and i spoke to a few dealers in Germany and the UK.

lol, so why don't i get the tools , and the air filter, and u fix for me. i pay j00 labour. lol

pm me when u got the filter . . . no need to pay cos I will only be guiding u . . . for filter part don't need to worry about any special tools cos only screwdriver is needed . . . and if u use cone filter u need to up ur existing main jet size by at least 1 size . . .

actually, u can even if u have a slighty smaller filter, you can squezze it through using a lil bit of oil. Tried before, it still works.

I see rag , cause i order this 1 from the bike shop is only 35mm it is just too small to fit. thanks for advice.

Yoshiki - er any idea where got available stock walk and buy? cause now ah , wah i ride i feel damn **** , like very stuck stuck. I thought it was because that my carb is always dirty due to no filter and i service carb almost every month for smooth riding but now i know air filter actually increases better breathing for the bike. where can i buy main jet? what size?

Sorry but I have no idea where to get knn filter for our 34mm carbies.

I always offer Ah Seng double if he can let my bike skip the queue and work on it first. He usually turns down my offer. :dozed:

I have a TwinAir dual density foam filter in my airbox. I have tried:

- cone filter

- trumpet

- airbox with filter; with snorkel

- airbox without filter; with snorkel

- airbox without filter; without snorkel

- airbox without filter; without top cover

- airbox with stocking; without top cover

- no airbox

I think best is still with airbox, filter, top cover, and snorkel all installed.

Now am off to change my main jet 1 size smaller to 148. My bike is on the brink of ultra lean mixture. Hope I don't seize the piston when I test it later. But if it doesn't seize, I'll be looking fwd to fuel consumption in the range of 30-35km/L. (currently is 25-30km/L)

Wish me luck.

no idea cos before is I ask ah seng to buy then I go and collect after tat I install myself . . . for the main jet it depend on wat size u r using now and then up by 1 size when u fit in the cone filter if needed . . . main jets can buy from weida at rowell rd or ideal motor at kaki bukit rd 1 . . . anyway u may not really need to use cone filter to really solve the problem u r facing now . . . u may just need to rejet . . . if ur jetting is screwed even with cone filter won't really help also . . .

no need to be surprise of the mileage becos if ur bike is jet correctly tats the average mileage u will get . . .

different bike may have to jet differently depending on the bike set up and rider's riding habit . . . so lawerence jetting may not be suitable for u also . . . 1st thing 1st is to solve ur problem on the bike 1st . . .

Haha..! Pickup like sh*t but other than that quite smooth. Certain times u'll feel the engine is abit stress lah. All depends on how u ride also. Each person's way of riding is unique. Plus! That was waay back in 2005 with my '03. Haven't tried with my '07 yet. :p
