Nge,

Can bring your drill so we can drill the hole in our fuel tank to fit our fuel level sensor for our KOSO meters?

Does the quotation include the valve CDI? It's a little black box smaller than our bike CDI.

Parts may be in before 26 Sep. If they are not by the 26 Sep, DIY will proceed but with only valve servicing and carb servicing on the itinerary.

BTW, it's probably safer you get proper sized tires if you want to go track. 120 front/ 150 rear might unsettle your bike in the turns. I still don't quite understand why you want a 120 front... :?

Do try to get a 110 instead, before the rear tire threads get too worn out. That way the front and rear will be balanced.

Hi lacrimosae, He said the box is only needed for 06&07, mine 08 model is the same as the 09model where the CDI is together with the valve CDI.

Does this make sense to you ?

Thank you. I will definitely join the DIY but i will only be able to confirm next week if i will be going overseas for work again.

Really appreciate you kind help all these while. :thumb:

Oh yeah!.... :slapforehead: Roight roight!! My mistake.... I forgot about that little discrepancy with the 08 models.

Yes, you won't be needing the RAVE ECU, just what is mentioned - Valve, valve motor (solenoid), valve cable, and valve housing (includes internal seal, spring, o-ring, valve housing gasket, and 2 hex screw bolts).

Hope to see you for DIY! Even if you're not doing anything, there's PLENTY OF FREE ALCOHOL! :D woo hoo!

Thanks Lawrence!

Don't thank me, thank your crooked front cowl bracket!

I finished at 3am last night and was so frustrated that the bracket was even more bent than my current one, that when I got home, I marched up to my room, fired my pc up, and ordered the bracket from Ultimate Parts. I hadn't even had time to wash my hands nor take a bath.

I'm hoping all the parts arrive before 25 Sept so that the 27 Sept DIY-101 can proceed as planned.

I have my work cut out for me, now that I have to include the change of bracket and KOSO meter.

Looks like it might be a 24-hr DIY session after all. :giddy:
