I change my spark plug about once a year or two; and clean the valve about twice a year, or whenever I feel like it.

Don't know about the rest of these guys.

Good tuning ensures your spark plug never fouls, and your valve never builds up enough carbon to seize (and a 30km/L mileage)

haha. was at the front of the shop.

Did you say hi? Cos I don't remember meeting anyone there.

It'd be strange not to say hi to someone you know.

Law , u had yaself a whole army to attend to the DIY .. haha .. more fun and laughter

As history has proven, the attendance list posted online is usually an inaccurate prediction of the actual physical turnout at DIY sessions.

hey lawrence,u still doing t-shirt?i need to print my company t-skirt...

PM me the details:

Quantity of t-shirt

Color of t-shirt

Color of print (no. of colors)

Size of prints and locations

Budget

Urghz.. too late to add my name? but can all 10 bikes fit at your void deck?

Cannot fit, so those who are working on their bikes will get to park in the void deck; those who wont be getting their hands dirty will park in the carpark and make room for those who will be opening their bikes.

That's only fair.

I only have enough time for my bike, so those coming will have to work on their own bikes, including my gf.

My gf probably gets it the worst from me, but for the rest of you softies who cannot take tough love, you are advised not to attend.

You mean it's expensive for bulk sales? Was thinking of ordering from Farnell.

There's very limited colours / lengths / ratios of heat-shrink that is sold in 1-metre multiples ... Normally u will have to order like an entire 25 / 50 / 100-metre reel :faint:

Try using this search utility (I've set the category) so u have a better idea on the prices - just tick the size / colour needed as well as other necessary (must have) preferences, then hit the Apply button.

Refresh it, if it doesn't load right the first time.

BTW u bought the meter directly from KOSO? I have hell trying to contact them to get a replacement speed sensor! USA office pushes me to Taiwan office, where the e-mail isn't manned and the the phone is picked up by an answering machine re-directing me to a new number. When I trunk call that new number, another answering machine re-directs me BACK ... WTH

Thanks, I'll check them all out.

Am super bored here in Dubai. No food in the day cos of Ramadan, all food joints closed, end up becoming a forum troll, just stalking around waiting to flame any bad posts.

Ugh, I'm so loathesome.

KOSO? Yeah, a total nightmare to deal with them.

Had the same problem. Emailed, no reply, then replied in bad English. Called but was constantly diverted. When I got someone on the line, it was in Mandarin.

In the end I flew to Taiwan to meet them and buy the units from them direct.

Also a nightmare, since the only Mandarin I can speak can only buy me chicken rice.

Hmm why not troll the Net instead and download the service / workshop manuals for RS125 and RS250? Easier when troubleshooting wiring, fitting hazard lights / zhng'ing blinker relay and installing Koso meter.

The problem is.... I've done that already wahahahahaha

Am now reading up on 2-stroke porting but don't understand the math involved. Sigh I was never good at maths.

Keep thinking of how much I miss my bike and how I can't wait to get home to start working on my bike some more. Last night I even had a dream of riding my bike and tuning it by the roadside, like the old days when my buddy Chris and I would do.

These days I have no one to share tuning ideas with, no one to debate riding techniques and tire compounds with, and no one to pit my tuning and tracking skills against on track.

What they say is true- an idle mind is the devil's workshop. I keep thinking of new interrogation methods and torture that I can apply to the vandal who vandalises my bike.

Can MSN me the ones for RS 250 '95? Even before taking over, I'm already trying to ID the ECU - if it's not full-powered, I'm going to replicate it ... The problem is that Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) and Air Solenoids make things complicated ... :faint:

No point la. Send it overseas to the experienced ones to big bore and port - better than trial and error, and busting a block. :giddy:

Think I'll start with the Michelin Power Ones, everything stock and tackle the ECU first ...

Nope ... Taking over Ben's (m3taph0r) RS250 on Thu ...

Dude.. I dont mean to be a wet blanket but please reconsider.. I heard bad things about that bike.. It's been on sale for very long coz of its history. I'm not too sure what exactly happened, but i roughly think tat bike has gone thru some bad accidents, and the alignment is gone or something. Maybe the others here can PM you about it.
